Hello, I am looking for a friend with a baby around 10 months of age living in the Los Angeles area. My son loves to be around other kids and I would also like to make a mommy friend. I am 24 years old, full time working mother, married, one kid, lives in Van Nuys. If you want to talk or seem interested in play dates with our kids just let me know.
I don't live in CA, but wanted to advise you to look for a moms club. I know in Michigan their is a club for Mom's that work. Or what about a saturday class for baby and me. Story times on the weekends. Just a few suggestions:)

You'll probably have more luck either through meetup or via your local community center (which usually have infant "play land" type things).
MOMS Club has been a great way for me to find playgroups for me and my son. Although we're mainly stay-at-home moms, we also have moms that work. Each group is different, but the majority have Moms Night Out Family Day Out, and Kids Day Out. I've made lifetime friends and found many more things to do with my son. I'm from the Granada Hills Chapter, but you'd need to find out which one you would be a part of since I don't see a Van Nuys chapter.
