Hi there!

I'm really stumped here! My family is asking what to get my son, and I have no idea what to tell them. I don't even have any ideas on what we should get him.....

Please share any ideas you might have!

My boys LOVE Air Hogs!! They have all different kinds and price ranges. Plus, they actually last a while....unless they get stuck in a tree :) But if you use them inside they work for a long time! I have 5 boys ranging for 4-12 years old and they all LOVE them!

Since every child is so different, it would be hard to tell you what to get him. My 10 yo loves Lego, video games, action figures and remote control stuff. I think some spy gear is on his list this year. What I have done for my kids year after year is that I go into Toys R Us and get 3 of the Big Toy Book. Each writes there name on it and circles what they would be interested in. I specify that they have to really think about it and circle what they really want otherwise if they give too large of a list, they might get something that was their 10th favorite. I do the same with the Walmart and Target Christmas books. This weekend should be a good one for the sale papers, so I will have them look through them to give me more ideas. I also have a secret sheet of paper in my kitchen that I keep a yearly list of things they say they want or see that are cool and I think are worth writing down. When a B-day or Christmas comes along, I go to the list, and have some choices to pick from. Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

All my grandsons, and there are 5 of them ranging from 9 to 16, really like the perplexus puzzel ball. You can find them most places- look it up on amazon.

Everything listed here sounds like what my 9 year old wants! He loves his Perplexus, his iPod, Legos, movies and drawing. If your son doesn't seem to want much I'd suggest gift cards to Target, Amazon or local movie theater. OR if he's a caring kind of guy, maybe he'd want to ask family for donations to a charity that he'd be enthusiastic about?!

My 10 year old wants Legos, remote controlled stuff- especially the little bigger stuff, spy gear, video games. He would ask for an iPod I think but we just shelled out for a 3ds for his birthday. Lol!

what is he into? video games or sports? or something else?

I think 10 is a good age for a computer, assuming he doesn't already have one.

If he doesn't have a video game system I would consider the XBox 360 with Kinnect.

Board games
legos
movies
tickets to see a professional sports game
equipment to play his favorite sport at home
a new bike, if he has outgrown his old one
rollerblades or skateboard
music MP3 player and money to download from an internet site
concert tickets (whoever gets them gets to tag along)

have him make a list, my family starts ours in july when their birthday's are done and they start asking for things I tell them to "put it on your Christmas list." There is always soooo much on the list they don't know what they are really going to get

All 10 year old boys are not created equal. Depends on what his likes are (games, movies, superheros, building, reading, etc). So if you can give us more on what he likes, we can help more :).
