3 Yr Old Birthday Party - Macomb,MI

I am looking for a place to have my sons 3rd birthday party. It will be small. Only about 6 kids. Something not too expensive and something geared towards kids that age. Adults will be coming too. Any suggestions? The jumping places are too expensive for that amount of people. I would have it at my house but it is a week after Christmas and I am already hosting a christmas party and a new years party and want to avoid having another party a couple days later.

What can I do next?

Can you not have it at your home? If you can, it is the easiest way to keep costs down. You can buy and create different games the kids can play for prizes and you can just have a simple pizza party for the food.

Try Jungle Java (Canton or Farmington Hills), Casearland (Warren or Canton) or bowling at Thunderbird Lanes (in Troy on Maple). We've been to parties at Jungle Jav and Casearland. We had a lot of fun. We've been bowling at Thunderbird the last two weekends and had a great time. My 3 year old pushed the ball down the lane with a little help. They have bumpers that come up automatically.

I had the Critter Guy come over to our house for my's son's birthday. It was GREAT. He brought over lots of critters and we had such a good time. Email me if you want the info, I should be able to find it somewhere...
Also check out the nature centers. They also so some great reasonable parties..

What does your son like or or is draw to if reading a book or seeing pictures of something? Fish? Dinosaurs? Transportation vehicles? Sports? Painting?

His interest would be the theme because it would excite him ... decorations (homemade instead of store bought, cake theme, place to go since you need to have the party somewhere other than the home).

Does the library have a room for a party? How about a splish and splash swimming party at a gym or YMCA? How about a tour of the fire station? An art store that gives classes - messy is always fun for kids and in someone else's place always great for the parents.

Also, check into restaurants that are kid friendly. Something like Jungle Java? Is Farmington Hills too far to go?

JUNGLE JAVA: Parents can eat or enjoy good coffee while children play in an indoor play space. Getting in requires $6.50 for kids 2-8 or $3 for ages 12-23 months. Nice selection of wraps and salads. Kid offerings include peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches and kid-size smoothies. 27658 Middlebelt, Farmington Hills, ###-###-####, and other locations. http://www.junglejavaplay.com/

Customized to his interests and just having fun for the kids and it'll be a great day for him. Simple, simple - and special for him - no need for lots of expense and glitz.

Have a great time!!! ~M.
