31 Party - What to Buy

I'm actually going to my first party today. I've seen quite a few co-workers with the lunch bags. I also know some of my kids teachers got the organizing tote. I also know someone was gifted a wine cooler bag, but I didn't see it in the online catalog I was sent.

What the heck is a "31 party" ? I've never heard of it.

I got 3 things...my smaller purse that has a really long strap that can be worn over the shoulder in black. Great for use in the city or amusement parks. Holds a wallet, diaper, small pack of wipes, brush, keys. Love this. Got the family cooler, love it but have only had it about 6 weeks and the handle is breaking and there isn't much weight in it when carried, so not in my eyes worth the 30ish bucks. Just received my home organizer ordered(backordered) so I haven't used that yet. The purse however was my half price item and at 19.00 was a little more than I would normally spend for a fabric purse, it seems well made and very functional for my on the go family.

I love 31, and I have about 15 items from them. My favs- the thermal lunch tote, I have the small, regular, and cooler size, and they are fabulous. And your stuff stays cold! I also have a shirt purse. I buy a skirt every season - $15, and I have a brand new purse just like that. The organizing utility tote is awesome too. I use it for my nail supplies. Polishes, foot files, pumice stones, files, tools, etc. It's so cute. I have the black/grey polka dot, and it hot pink it says "Hollys Nails"!

I could go on and on about their stuff. But those are my top 3.

The large utility tote is my favorite. I have 2 now because I use it so much. Anytime I have to go to any party or event, I use that to carry everything. I also have the shoulder purse that goes over your shoulder and across your chest (2 of them too!) and love those for going to places like the zoo with the kids so I am hands free and don't have to worry about it sliding off.
I just got the large beach bag and large cooler bad which are so awesome too! I have so much more (my mom sells it) and I just love it all. But, i would say everyone loves the larget utility tote for sure if you are trying to buy just one thing.

I just went to one a couple of weeks ago! Before i actually went to a party I heard some of the ladies at work ttalking about their 31 bags and I asked what they were. Then I bought my daughter a wristlet and a skirted purse, both of which she adores. (Didn't know at the time that my friend was going to have a party or I would have waited!) I ordered an organizer tote for my mom because she is retiring and I thought it would be great for the supplies for one of her hobbies like reading, sewing, embroidery, or crocheting. The only thing I didn't love about it was that it doesn't have a zipper on top.
Everyone at work takes their lunch in the thermal lunch bags. I haven't bought one of those yet but after buying for everyone else I was busting my budget!
One thing I did learn is that is you spend a certain amount you can get these cute little zipper bags about the size of a makeup bag for $2 or $3 each. They looked really handy.
As for the pattern, go with whatever looks cute to you! The back of the book has recommendations for matching the straps to your pattern choice. I picked what I thought suited the personality of who I was buying for. My Mom's bag is Garden Blossom or something like that. My daughter has Ditsy Dots for her wristlet and some kind of floral skirt for her purse.

What a weird coincidence....one of the moms in my mom's group had a 31 party tonight as a new 31 consultant. I just looked up their website and nothing really jumped out at me (I think the stuff just isn't my taste).

BUT.........what about the hang up home organizer? My mom is a professional organizer and she has something similar that she keeps in her car with things that she always needs; extra make up, socks, tissues. With 3 kids, maybe you can make it a car survival kit with snacks, crayons, coloring books, etc.

I had a 31 party and got lots of cool things! I got 2 skirt purses, 1 black, 1 brown. The brown one is the skirt purse elite with the ruffled skirt. I got the pixie pink medallion and the black onyx medallion skirts. I also got the Market Thermal Tote in circle spiral. I love it! So much nicer than carting a cooler around at the zoo. I also got the coin purse wallet in black onyx medallion, the Utility Tote (the one with the 5 pockets on the outside) in the pin stripe with the pink handles; I use it as a diaper bag. I got my Mom the All In One organizer to hold her crochet stuff, and I'm going to get one for myself for my cross stitch stuff.

I have a HUGE list of things I want to get :) Basically, one of everything! LOL!

For kids that age, I would recommend the small thermals. They're amazing for toting snacks and drinks. You can throw and ice pack in there and it will keep the stuff cold.

I know a lot of people that have 31 stuff and everyone loves it. I've never heard any complaints. You can't go wrong with any of it!

I LOVE 31 stuff! I have the big tote ($30) it's the big rectangle tote - actually I have 2 of them. I keep one in my minivan for all the toys, books, etc. and I just bought one for the summer to put the towels in and take to the pool.

I also have 2 of the utility bags ($22) and I use those as my purse/diaper bags. I have 3 kids (5, 4, 2) so there is plenty of room for all of my stuff. I have 2 of the larger size thermal lunch totes (I think they were $14?) They are awesome!!! We take those to the park, zoo, etc. Finally I have one of the All in one organizer bags. I use that as a bag when I don't want to take my big diaper bag. I just throw my wallet, phone, etc. in there.

Not sure of the name of the prints, but I have the brown and red plaid with white writing, the black & white cirlce print with red writing and with hot pink writing, the summery one - it's white with circles & dots in pink and brown, and the St. Andrew Hole N One Print with Burgundy writing,

I have had no problems with my products. The quality has been great, the delivery time has been quick, and overall I love the stuff!
