Hi everyone, tomorrow my baby is going to be 3 and I was wondering if anyone knew of a fun indoor place close to Clifton NJ that I can take her to, where we can have a great time without having a birthday party. Any suggestions. Thanks.

FunTime Junction in Fairfield is a great indoor play area. Also the NJ Meusem in paramus is lots of fun too. There are a few more indoor play areas that I take my son to, but they are in Northern Bergen county and a little far from you. If you want to know more, email me. have fun and happy birthday.

There's a new place that opened up in Montclair on Bloomfield Ave- Unbelieva-Bills. The kids love it there. There is an indoor jungle gym (like at Funtime Junction) and arcade games. It's smaller than Funtime Junction- so that may be nice (and quieter). They sometimes have shows as well. There is also a small cafe and the prices are very friendly, only $5 for open play on the jungle gym. Their website is www.unbelieva-bills.com

I am a daycare provider in Clifton, NJ and the children just LOVE Funtime Junction in Fairfield. It's close to Willowbrook Mall. She'll have a blast!!!

I agree that Funtime Junction is a good choice. She will love the moon bounce and the indoor gym. There's an arcade too. However, I think maybe Imagine That! children's museum in Florham Park is a better choice for a special day. Depending on where in Clifton you live, it's roughly 30 minutes from you, and has lots and lots to do. A pretend ballet studio, pretend supermarket, pirate ships, planes, trains, etc. to climb up, slide down, and explore, a music room, a playhouse, post office, dentist office, etc. Cheaper, better kept up, and better laid out that the children's museum in Paramus. Both Funtime and Imagine That have a cafeteria for food; Imagine That also allows you to bring your own food.

My advice - call both places to find out if they are expecting any large groups of school age kids - they can spoil the fun a bit for a 3 yo.

Happy Birthday to your "baby" !!!
