There is a caterer at 141st & S.R 31 in the YEAGER building. Honestly, I can't remember the name of the company. I'd get some referrals, too.
I am planning a joint 40th and 35th birthday party for my husband and I this July. I know I need a caterer and that I will want some tables and chairs etc - but I need some recommendations from you all! We live in Carmel Indiana. Any and all tips welcome! Thanks so much.

I don't know if you're still looking for a caterer but in case you are, my husband owns a catering/personal chef company called Ripe. If you're interested, please send me a message and I'll give you his number.
Is it theme based? If you were feeling Caribbean, Da Blue Lagoon in the Broad Ripple area is absolutely the best!
I am not sure what type of food you are looking for but my husband and I own a Italian Restaurant in the clearwater area called Sangiovese. We do loads of catering and we would love to help you out.
I know a lady who owns a catering business called "execuevents.com" The owners name is Machelle and she's really sweet. I'm not really sure what kind of parties they do, but I'm sure if you call and talk with her, she could help you out. Tell her C. sent you. Good luck!
I would love to help! I worked for my family's catering company for 15 years and was most recently the Director of Catering and Special Events at Adobo Grill on 82nd & Allisonville. I am in the process of branching out on my own with "Ravenous (aggressively creative) Catering". My sister and I are doing Broad Ripple Farmer's Market and Traderspoint Creamery Farmers Market selling some of our products this summer and I'm really trying to get the catering started off at the same time. I have all of the equipment from my family's company as well as connections at A Classic Party Rental, so I could help you with that as well.
Check out our website and let me know if you'd like to talk about your ideas.

Worse comes to worse Jugs is great.
If you are renting a facility talk to them, they will have a list of caterers to recommend and will know what types of food you are wanting to offer.
If it is an evening party and you like dancing etc., a dee jay would be a good idea.
The last birthday party for adults I went to offered Kareoke (spelling not good this time of the morning) and everyone, including the youngsters loved it.
They had requested no gifts so people brought them white elephants, it was a hoot.
