6pm.com--Not Pushing Website, Just Want Some Legit Feedback

I was PTA president at 2 different schools. I learned that parents like to be called and specificly asked. Ask the teacher who do they suggest? They many times know the parents that have shown interest in being in the classroom.

So go back and look at the sign up,sheets parents filled out at back to school night.nstart from the beginning or the end of the list and be excited about how fun this will be.. FYI, children LOVE seeing their parents help at school. Remind the parents about this fact.

Call dads too. They are awesome about helping.

Try to ask as soon as you know an event is going to happen, parents that work may need to schedule it a week or 2 ahead of time. Parents with younger children ,sy need to find child care.

Be Specific that the teacher requested the help. Exactly what they will be doing and how long they should expect to volunteer.

I just looked at the site and, while they offer free shipping, they do not offer free returns. That means any sweet deal you get goes out the window if they don't fit perfectly.

I would only buy shoes online if shipping was free both ways. I've used Zappos and shoes.com many times and been very happy.

I know nothing about the site. I only deal with legit sites such a Nordstrom, White House Black Market, etc and no discounters.

One thing you said struck a chord........ "name brand quality shoes for cheap"

Remember that you get what you pay for.. go cheap get cheap, even if it is a name brand. That name brand could be an irregular, second or return. What is the return policy if you don't like these name brand cheap shoes?

Before you take a chance and purchase, I would make sure I am clear on all return policies as in FREE shipping to and FROM if needed. It is not deal if you have to turn around and spend money to return what you don't like.

ETA: Sherry, there seems to be a glitch in the MMP system today, hence Laura's post on the wrong thread.

I have purchased 3 pairs of shoes from them at the same time. I didn't like one pair and returned them for free. I typically don't shop online but this experience was good.

It's a totally legit site! I almost ordered shoes through them 2 weeks ago, but I decided to go with DSW.com (same price & free returns). I only shop decent, high-end retailers and I would us 6pm.com.

I've never heard of them but thanks for asking the question so the rest of us can give them a try!

I have bought from this site and had great luck with it, even great with returns. When I first came across the site I ordered a pair of shoes for my son, had to return them because they were too small and the credit was issued right away for the return. I did order again from them this past summer and was very happy with them. Will continue to buy from 6pm.

I've shopped 6pm many times and have been very happy with my purchases. The shipping is free, but not speedy. I did have issues with one item I purchased and they gave me a full refund, no questions asked. They were very easy to deal with.

Although I cannot comment about kid shoes fitting properly or not I will say every shoe I've bought for myself fits perfectly. They are the same shoe you would get at the direct website as well...think of it as Marshall's of online stores
