How about a tea party? You can use decaf tea. Tiny little sandwiches (cut with cookie cutters) and little cookies and things :) Then the girls can come in their "girly" dresses.
My daughter will be turning 7 at the end of November and I have to start thinking about her party! It will probably be just girls...what can we do? Last year they had a blast making jewelry, but I don't want to do the same thing! My daughter is pretty 'girlie', so I need some ideas! I never wanted that kind of party, so I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas!
Please give me some ideas of what we can do! Thanks!
So many great ideas!!! My daughter loved the idea of doing manicures! Thanks so much mamas!

Since it's so close to the holidays, you can do a gingerbread house decorating party. You can pre-make the house parts. You don't have to have too many girls over to your house, and it takes the kids forever to decorate the houses, so it can be the whole party. Then they take the house home at the end of the party. Set up a craft table for those who finish early, with inexpensive foam crafts from the craft store. It will be a great day!
Cupcake/cookie decorating party? Let them take home the goods that they make. Have sprinkles of all kinds, cute cupcake liners, icing, piping bags, m&ms, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips. Have tons of recipes and let them choose what they want to bake. (have butter pre-softened). Girls could also decorate their tupperwares with sharpie markers or paint pens. (Then you wash it after it drys, so they can put their treats in the tupperware to take home).
Or come up with an idea to go with her number - "Lucky number 7" and have a theme with either 4 leaf clovers, rabbit's foot, pennys, horseshoes, etc. Maybe they could make barettes out of pennies (get special glue for this at a craft store for bonding metal to metal. hot glue won't last). Let them shine the pennies using whatever method you find online (baking soda?) and then have them lay out their design with pennies and maybe some ribbon onto a hair clip or two.
@ Tori - LOVE your idea! Pedicure station is my favorite! Lots of fun colors out there too. Each girl could go home with the toe separator and a bottle of color.
You could do a make-over type party. My friend's daughter did this for her 6th birthday and it was so cute! She had a hair station, a make up station, a bracelet making station and manicure/pedicure station. She recruited her mom and sisters to help at each station and the girls rotated through. She also put out some dress up clothes and then at the end did a runway fashion walk, which would be fun even if they didn't dress up, to show off their new looks!
If that's too much you can always choose one of those and revolve the party around that. Doing pedicures would be super cute and you can send home each girl with a bottle of polish as their party favor. My friend stocked up on really cute accessories and combs and chapsticks from the dollar store and the girls loved it!
The "Faux sleepover" is a popular option around here - guests come in their jammies, eat pizza and watch a movie, maybe do their nails and/or hair, eat ice cream, and then go home at around 8 p.m.
