Any suggestions on how to handle a nine month old who is starting to refuse formula? She eats well but I think she needs to keep drinking formula also.

We have tried different bottles, cups, etc and that does not make a difference.

What can I do next?

I would keep pushing it. My DD is 10 mo my DR said be sure to keep giving her at least 24 ounces per day. One idea is to make a smoothie out of the formula, fruit and ice or formula, fruit and greek yogurt.

What's the norm for her? Cold or warm? Maybe change that up?

I have been there,my daughter at 10 months old would not take the formula anymore just like yours. Her doctor told me to do half formula and half milk, that only worked for a little bit , But go a head and give it a go and maybe it will work for you . best of luck...

My son did this around 10 mos old. He absolutely would not drink formula. So we added a little whole milk in with this formula (about half and half) and he would take it. My 11 mo old baby girl is doing the same thing. We just started adding in milk to her formula, and she is taking it much better, too.
Hope this helps!

Make sure you bottle feed before table feed. So she is nice and hungry when the bottle comes. Also, mix formula into her food to make sure she is getting more that way.

add a teaspoon of strawberry yoghurt or baby puree - like banana to give it a hint of taste. Not too much you don't want to get her used to that.. its just to get her to accept it... then just add less and less and hopefully she will get back to drinking eiher milk or formula.

It could also be that you need to replace the nipples. Maybe the hole is too small and she cannot drink as fast as she wants, and thinks that the teet is clogged. Try nipples with bigger holes. Stage 2 or 9m+.

If my son thinks the hole is clogged he puts it down and cries.

If she can hold a sippy cup and drink from that, I would give her the sippy and toss the bottles.
