Hi, I am getting ready for my move and when I get to town I am going to need a few things for the house. Is anyone willing to give up their secret of the best little antique shop in town or a great little place to get quality furniture at discount prices. I would also like to know about any antique flea markets. I am hooked and a cross country move will not slow me down!! Also, totally unrelated, I have been looking for a really thick sudsy bubble bath for my kids. I see adds where the bubbles are so thick you can hardly see the kids, but in my house, the bubbles dissolve in the water in about 5f minutes, can anyone help with this too?

What can I do next?

There are a few names: Fantastic Finds, New To You, Too Good To Be Threw. Also, you can just look up antiques in yellow pages or www.msn.com yellow pages.

Good luck!!!

Antiques? Waco or Fredricksburg- just about any small community is going to have great antiques, reasonably priced in the south too. Bubbles - well I use Non toxic products which are great! I have to agree with the last response the water here is hard and getting bubbles to last isn't likely. I would be happy to show you the products I use.

There is a great antique shop on Perrin Beitel and 410 right outside the loop next door to kfc and taco bell. I don't recall the name off hand but they repair furniture also.

Well, as for the bubbles, here in San Antonio we have some of the hardest water in the country so you don't get long lasting bubbles here either. Make sure you get a water softener!
