We have one of those saucer sleds and he's had fun with it. Our neighbors have the snow tube. They have one that is big enough for them to ride on it with their child.
We got an inflatable ones at Target. They have handles and it's comfy for the kids to sit or lay on without being too hard. My 2 and 4 yr olds really like them.
you made M. do math, i think its insanely cute that u refer to him in months still=) in a good way.....your 3 year old would do fine on any sled, i would get a bigger plastic one you could fit onto to, in case he wants company or wants to lay back going down the hill
