Acne All Over ?

I swear by the proactive. I never had acne growing up but once I got into my adult years it was impossible to deal with. I used it for about 2 weeks and saw a drastic difference. It is a bit pricey so once I got my acne under control, I cut down to using it just once a day, then every other day, and now I just use it a couple times a week and it still keeps the acne away. Hey Sweetie, hang in there. I can totally realate! I have always struggled with acne. Even during pregnancy. Until I found ARBONNE 5 years ago. I had a girl in March of 05 and I just had a boy this past November and with him I broke out really bad but only on my face. Don't be embarrassed to talk to your doctor. All I did was make sure I washed my face in the morning and at night with Biore face wash, this seemed to help a little but I don't know if there is really anything that can be done to avoid it.

I know people who have used Proactive and LOVE IT!! I get a few bumps on my face when I am pregnant (right now) and no other time--so it could be crazy pregnancy hormones. You are not allowed to use aloe vera when you're pregnant. Ask your doc.

When I was pregnant with my son, I had terrible acne all of the sudden...never had a serious problem before. It was all over my lower back where my son was. My doc said it was thought to be because of the increased testosterone in my system. She said I couldn't do anything out of the norm about it. I even asked her if I could use Proactive, & she said no. You just have to wait it out. Sorry! It went away when I had my son, so there is hope.

It's just one of those things that we have to endure during pregnancy, but it's all worth it!

I just had a baby 3 months ago and I had the same problem and they just cleared up about 1.5 month ago. When you are pregnant your skin is very sensitive I had to change laundry detergent to Tide Free that helped a little but I just had to wait it out. I didn't know if they were ever going to go away but they did. I hated clothes cause I could not wear anything sleeveless. Your doctor might give you something mine did not just said it was normal and will go away. Try the Clinque 3 step cleaning. I never did all 3 steps but I do know and that helps. Use ProActive. You cannot go wrong with that. I used it all throughout my pregnancy and it was WONDERFUL to say the least. I just went and got it again. I changed my skin care line to a home party one and OMG>...I will NEVER do that again! I have broken out so bad, I had no choice but to change back. FYI...due to the Benzoyl Peroxide, you will want to keep it away from your hair line. You will also want to use pillow cases that you do not care alot about. The BP will "bleach" your sheets/towels. This is totally safe to use and so worth it. Best of luck to you.

I wouldn't use any kind of acne treatment or washes, it may make things worse. I would try some kind of "Sensitive" wash- like dove. I didn't suffer from acne during pregnancy, but after my face and skin went on a mad dash back to high school! It was aweful! Once i stopped breastfeeding, i got on a strong RX from a dermatologist. It did nothing! Eventually, i got into Arbonne and began using the Intelligence line. You may try it, it is for all types of skin and worked wonders on my skin.
