I am looking for something to keep my 23 month old, very active, son busy for a few hours in the afternoon, while my husband sleeps(he works the midnight shift). I take him to the park, and sometimes he plays with grandma, or the kids next door, but they are older, and have school. A group, or sports team, or what ever would be great! I already called the YMCA, and they don't have anything for kids under 3. Mommy and me style play groups do not work for me, because I work during the day. I need activities from 4ish to 7ish tues - fri.
Try the Little Gym. They have great classes for kids his age. It's a little pricy. Also, the city has classes for his age as well.

For the summertime, you can may be look into swimming lessons for him. :-) That's about all I have to suggest for you other than may be the ZOO, or you can try and find some arts and crafts class for toddlers. Hope this helps. :-) G.

Get one of those small plastic kiddie pools. Put some bath toys & pool toys in it and it will keep him busy for a while.

I am involved with a moms group here in my city. Go to meetup.com and you can find groups in your area. It has been a lot of fun getting together with other mother's and seeing my son interact with other toddler's his age.
Try taking him to the mall. They have a great play area and works for my kids when I am in town.

there should be a little tykes league in your area- you might try and "google" them or try my gym, I think they have evening classes.
