We just recently moved to Claremont. I have one in elementary school, and two little boys at home. I'm looking to find out what there is to do in the area. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I used to live in Claremont. I live in Rancho Cucamonga now. It is a GREAT area. Be sure and check out the parks & recreation guide that Claremont puts out (http://www.ci.claremont.ca.us/index.cfm) as well as surrounding cities for lots of classes, activities and more.
There are lots of day trip ideas here: http://www.daytrippen.com/inland.html
Claremont has lots of lovely parks. The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is a great park to go on a walk or long hike. During the summer, Memorial Park has a small water splash pool, plus movies & concerts - all free. Downtown Upland and Claremont both have cute areas to walk around and shop and eat.
Good luck and have fun!

I like Gymboree. I am sort of new to the area too, but we do parks, we have a water park in Fontana in the summer, we went to the Long Beach Aquarium, walk along the trails.
There's also big bear an hour or so away for snow play. Also look for your local city magaizine that comes out. Ours has a ton of stuff age 0-adult.

Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens is great and there is free admission if you buy a yearly family pass that will let you into other arboretums and botanical gardens. My kids and I would spend hours and hours there. The garden is located on Foothill, east of Indian Hill.
Check out MOMS Club, they rock! and another awesome, wonderful moms group is Mom-to-Mom, held at the Life Bible Fellowship Church in Upland, at the top of Euclid.
There is a great hands on dinosaur museum located in the Webb School, I think off of Baseline?
If you are looking for a wonderful pre-school, both my boys went to the Pre-School at Claremont United Methodist Church, hidden behind the red brick bank on the corner of Foothill and Indian Hill.
And check out the Claremont Club - pricey, but worth every single dime. Seriously.
Hope this helps!

There's a great little shop in downtown Claremont called No Sugar Added. It's a great resource for some local groups (like the Holistic Mom's Network) And I know they have a momma's group that meets up at some of the local parks. I sadly haven't been able to attend the playgroups because I work full time :(
I attend a music class once a week with my little one at the UCC Church on Harrison (not a religious class, they just use the space). It's just East of Indian Hill on the North side of Harrison. They have a FREE demonstration class this Friday (Jan 7th) at 10 am. Call the teacher, Lynn, for more info. She's SUPER great. ###-###-####. This is a great area, it just takes time to find your community. I hope to see you at the music class!
