I went for about 6 months after being diagnosed with infertility issues -- I wanted to try that before medication or IVF...worked for me -- (my issues was PCOS).

no, but after having 3 miscarriages it was finally discovered that I had a thyroid issue. After starting medicine, I have had 3 successful pregnancies. Definitely something to check. Email me if I can help further and good luck during this challenging time.

After my first failed IVF attempt, I started going to acupuncture and I LOVED it! Just once a week, but it was really relaxing. I went for the entire month prior to my second IVF attempt and continued going through the first trimester (obviously second IVF was successful!) I do feel that it helped and made the difference and now I have a healthy 1 year old.

I did. I also used Dr. Calli in Keller while I was going through IVF. At the same time I saw Dr. Ken Parker (chiropractor). I am now 26 weeks pregnant with twins. Was it the acupuncture, the chiropractor, all of it together, or just the ivf? I have no idea. But we are now pregnant so something worked. I asked a lot of questions and did a lot of research and both Dr. Cali and Dr. Parker made sense to me. I say it can't hurt, and both actually feel good. Good luck.

My wife did acupuncture at the Jade Clinic in Dallas for 6 months to the tune of $90 bi-weekly with no success. She was looking for an alternative to the very expensive IVF, but in the end, that's what it took - now we have a beautiful boy! Good luck with the acupuncture. I think it's something you have to believe in.

No, but I got pregnant twice after taking a doctor-prescribed progesterone supplement. My progesterone was just a little too low. Worked twice with me, and with one of my friends, who is about to give birth. Doesn't increase the chance of multiples, just evens out your hormone levels. Two simple blood tests to find out I had this problem.

Yes. After the high tech IUI's and IVF's failed to work, Chinese medicine (herbs and acupuncture) did the trick.

I can't recommend Dr. Calli in Keller enough if you decide to try it out! She's great and helped me with my morning sickness. She's got her medical degree from China and her non-traditional medicine degree here and is also super sweet, very easy to talk to (I was nervous at first so if you tell her it's your first time she will talk you through it and then you can talk to her about anything to make you less nervous - it was no big deal though and well worth it!!) Good luck!! I hope it works for your infertibility issues, I never knew it could be used for pretty much everything imagineable!!

I did and it was great. There is a special protocol just for IVF that I did. I got pregnant on my first IVF. I had to go twice a week for about 6 - 8 weeks before the retreival and I went a couple of time after the embryo transfer as well.
