R.F.
S.,
It is normal to be nervous as the big day nears. Just remember, women have been giving birth since the beginning of time--we are made to do it, and it is a natural thing. One thing that helped me with labor/delivery was having an open mind and trying to stay calm (realizing my body is strong and capable). After giving birth to my now 10 month old son, I realized it doesn't always happen how you may have envisioned it. I wanted to have a drug-free labor as well, but because I was induced, I chose to have an epidural at 8 cm. See, induction makes labor more intense. I made it to 8 cm though, and was on a slow drip (not much drugs), so I feel I did it pretty much naturally! My point is don't put restrictions on yourself--be kind to yourself. If you can do it naturally-great! If you get to the point where you feel you need assistance, give yourself permission. However it happens, a wonderful end result will occur--a beatiful baby to call your own!
Congrats and good luck,
Becky
