My son is also allergic to eggs and milk, but can now tolerate some egg. French Toast is a hard one to do without those ingredients. Do you have the cookbook "Dairy-Free, Egg-Free Kid Pleasing Recipes & Tips" by Theresa Kingma? This cookbook has been a life-saver to me. You can order it online - just google the name and her website will come up. There are many baked good and breakfast recipes. I also have the book "What's to Eat? The Milk-Free, Egg-Free, Nut-Free Food Allergy Cookbook" by Linda Marienhoff Coss. I honestly am not a big fan of many of her main meal recipes, but I've had good results with the baked goods sections. For dressings, I usually use oil and vinegar or the dressings by Organic Ville, which are vegan and quite good (my kids love the Tarragon Dijon and Ranch). You can find them at healthfood stores and some supermarkets.

When making french toast, I used orange juice before my son could have dairy...it's a sweet substitute.
My son also loves the Good Seasons dressing mix as well as the oil based ceasar dressing.
Best of luck!

Searching for vegan recipes for the foods you would like to make is the quickest way to find dairy and egg free options. Personally, I'd skip the french toast altogether since it requires both eggs and milk (and butter and the bread usually has milk and/or eggs . . . ) Fresh fruit makes a nice breakfast. Leftovers are good morning foods too :D

Flax seed soaked in a bit of water (I forget the ratio) will replace eggs in a lot of recipes.

Oil and vinegar dressings are good. Avocado dressings are nice when you'd like to have a creamy option. You can also use nut or seed butters to make dressings more creamy. "Raw Food For Busy People" is a great resource for dressings and marinades which can be combined with salads, crackers or cooked food or eaten as is. Most are minimal prep, but should be started the night before (I make one recipe a night for the next day's meals). There are also some dessert ideas. All are dairy & egg free (and none require any cooking which is a plus on hot days :D).

Is she allergic to milk or just casein? Can she tolerate yogurt (where the casein is precipitated)? I made french toast for my middle daughter with plain yogurt, and substituted it for the milk in many recipes. I've since found raw creme fraiche (like sour cream) - again, the culturing precipitates the casein and it's totally tolerable for her.

I suggest you do an internet search for VEGAN recipes. I have 3 Vegan children..I would be lost without the internet suggestions for recipe substitutions.
My daughter uses HEMP milk for her son. There are frozen vegan waffles in most supermarkets.

You can substitute a flax seed/water slurry for eggs in most recipes...it might work in french toast!

Here is a recipe for vegan french toast as well:

When I had to cut dairy out for my nursing son, vegan recipe sites were a huge help! If you daughter is fine with dairy, keep the milk, but use whatever they suggest for the egg substitute. (tofu, in this case)

applesauce is a great substitute for baking . I would guesstimate around a 1/4 -1/2 cup per egg. I have made many baked goods especially cookies with applesauce and it comes out great! If you can find a dairy substute omit the egg and use the cinnamon and vanilla and sugar for flavoring the french toast.

There is a good egg replacer, I think it's called Ener-G or something like that. It's a powder. Whole Foods or health food stores have it. I have a great book called The Parent's Guide to Food Allergies, by Barber, she has lots of egg-free recipes. She suggests using a mix of 4 1/2 TBS water, 4 1/2 TBS oil, and 1 TBS baking powder all whisked together as a substitute for 2 eggs. It works great in baking. Not sure about French Toast. If you figure it out, let me know!
