So What Happened?

THANK YOU all so much for the responses. I am taking him to Boulder tomorrow to see if they can help him. He was hospitalized last weekend for an asthma attack, he's doing much better, but I would love for someone to do the NAET so we can help our little guy live his life. read this article if you have time- it stunned me:http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/4/21/722571/-More-...

Worked for us. However, sometimes the treatment doesn't "stick" until the child is a little bit older and their immune system is fully formed. It also doesn't "stick" well if the child is very out of balance when it is first performed and therefore results in multiple treatments. Also, sometimes the allergy comes back if it is related to an emotional issue, in which case Neuro-emotional technique (NET) first, and then NAET work better. I have a doc that has treated both my kids that can do both treatments if you are interested. It really is wonderful! It's also way better then traditional allergy treatments through western medicine. We've done it on a baby as young as three weeks old. Finally, there is a diagnostic procedure called Electral Dermal screening (EDS) that will test for allergies and sensitivities. It is non-invasive and easy to do on a small child. (It's too hard to explain, so I suggest looking it up if you are interested). Way better then the whole needle prick way of testing, and also more exact. My doc does that, too. When my oldest was little he was super sick from food allergies from food he got through the breast milk. No one in western medicine was of any help. We went this route when he was five months old, and I swear it saved his health! Okay, you get that I like it and recommend it. Happy to answer any more questions.

My child's egg allergy has been eliminated through NAET with Eve Kocurek, MM, MS, LAc, LCH, DOM. Her phone number is ###-###-#### and she's located at 38th and Wadsworth. She's very nice, great with kids and definitely worth the drive. We've had great results and are moving on to clear the other allergies. Eve also gives the option of acupressure vs. acupuncture for those who want to avoid needles (perfect for kids). She offers a free 15 minute consult including basic muscle testing. Best wishes!

I am hoping that you get more feedback on this as I am just starting the process for myself thru Clinix and working with Dr. Cortini, DC (they are located on Yosemite between Arapahoe and Dry Creek) and considering taking my 3 year old son as I suspect he is having major food allergy issues but I am not sure how an energetic, strong willed, not one to sit still 3 year old boy will handle this type of treatment and am trying to decide if I should go this route vs. a pediatric allergist. So I am hoping that you get more suggestions from others who have done this.

We've had several friends who children went from extreme allergies to being able to consume wheat, dairy and more through NAET. They all have used Jill Morian in Boulder. One family we know has done the NAET process for cat allergies and now they have 3 cats. Another friend of mine went to Jill Morian and at 42 years, she "got over" her cat allergy. One set of friends used it on their son's very bad eczema. It's almost too bizarre of a concept for me to grasp, but the results we've seen with friends have been incredible. I would do it in a heartbeat if I found out any of my kids had allergies. Here's their website: http://red-white.net/. there is also a lot of information on NAET on their site. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can ask our friends.

I took my 2 year old son to NAET because he had a rash around his mouth that we could not get rid of. The doctors had prescribed several rounds of steroids and antibiotics and it would only go away when he was on the medicine. Everything I read indicated it was probably a milk allergy. I took him to NAET and sure enough, he had a mild allergy. The practitioner gave him several treatments because he was also sensitive to a bunch of other stuff too. With every treatment it got better and now it is gone. My in-laws were the ones who told me about it and they have also had some really great results. I would definitely give it a try because if it doesn't work you are only out a little money because there are no side affects or chemicals involved. I think allergists are great, but I think NAET is a better first route.
