DH=dear husband
TTC= try to concieve
AF=aunt fran aka time of the month
BFN= big fat negative
btw=nausea is one of the early signs of pregnancy due to the hormone changes (i didn't think you got this early in pregnancy but a obgyn told me otherwise)
AF came or did it im not sure. My normal AF starts out Heavy then medium then light then spotting and last 4 days it has always been like that. but this month it came a day early came the 23 and i wasn't due for it until the 24th it started out really light like spotting then yesterday was a medium flow now today its super light. and with all that the color is a brownish color and i have an increase in Cervical mucus, TMI i know sorry. so today marks day 2 of the suposid AF. This is really not normal for me.
with that said i want to thank everyone for their response. Starting on friday i put my mind somewhere else and stopped thinking about it. it is hard to not think so much into it but im definatly relaxing from now on. but this period has me stumped. I know everyone says hormonal imbalance or stress but ive had some really bad stress in the pasted and never had it mess with my period. like i said ive NEVER had a AF like this!! Any thots moms, it would all be greatly appricated!!

You aren't crazy. You are hopeful. Wait until at least the day of your missed period and then test in the morning. Sometimes a woman's body doesn't produce enough hCG to effectively test until after the missed period. Good luck.
Give it another week and be sure to test first thing in the morning. That is when the levels will be most concentrated in your urine.
Sorry, I'm still hung up on all your abbreviations. You didn't clarify what dpo is either.
Personally, since you have taken 3 tests and they were all negative (I think), I would say hop in the sak and keep on trying.
There's no way for us to know unfortunately but I do know from experience that we can make ourselves think we are preggo even if we are not. I agree with giving it another week and testing again, if it's still negative chances are the test is right. Here's to hoping you get a positive (hugs)!
Normal HCG levels in pregnant women can vary widely. One woman may get a result much sooner than another when using a urine test. I would wait until 14-16 days past ovulation before I would be expecting to get a reliable result.
Fertilization can take 24-48 hours and implantation (which I understand triggers the bulk of the hormone production) can take several more days. Taking urine tests too soon can be an exercise in futility.
I know you've been trying and waiting a long time, but try to relax just a bit and test when it is reasonable to get an accurate reading.
P.S. I was quite nauseous right away, but I am one of those women whose HCG levels are at the upper limits when pregnant. I didn't have so many other symptoms at first.
might be able to answer if it were written in laymans terms.
You might not want to hear this, but there is such a thing as trying too hard.
I say this because I only conceived after scheduling a hysterectomy and giving up on having a second baby. They said I would never have ANY kids.
I have a friend who blew through most of her life savings on IVF. She was told it would never happen.
She accepted it. She relaxed and she and her husband spent the rest of their savings on a house, new cars and a second honeymoon.
Guess who got pregnant?
I know people that have conceived within months of adopting a child.
I totally understand the frustration and sadness and being anxious to have a child. I've been there. Both times I got pregnant, ten years apart, I was scheduled for a hysterectomy. I just quit focusing my every single moment on getting pregnant, and it happened.
Complicating things for me is that I rarely had periods.
Three or four months with no period, I'd take a test and it would be negative.
I was literally shocked both times I was pregnant.
My point is, I think you should relax a little bit. Your emotions can put stress on your body and wanting to be pregnant so badly can make you mimic symptoms.
Have fun making love to your husband. Don't worry about a test until you've missed a period.
I know some women want to know the very minute they conceive, but let me tell you, 40 weeks is a really long time to be pregnant and wait for a baby. I personally am glad I shaved some of the weeks off not knowing.
Just my opinion.
I really do wish you the best.
I wish you all the best in becoming parents and hope your dreams come true soon.
In infertility it is not always a simple answer of "relax and it will happen". Some people actually have problems and some are just impatient. I was one with actual problems. Basically, I lost both Fallopian tubes to ectopic pregnancies. Both were emergency surgeries at about 7 1/2 to 8 weeks. Be on the look out for any signs of an ectopic. If you you have many signs of pregnancy with pain/throbbing on one side (see mayo clinic for more details) then go see your doctor and they will give you a blood test.
I think it's still too early. Wait until you miss your period!
I agree with Shane, Holly, and Jennifer. First of all, you absolutely can be nauseous right away in a pregnancy. I certainly was. From the time I conceived, it was just 2 weeks later when I started becoming nauseous. I also had the very sore breasts as well. I would wait another day or two and then take another test using your fist morning urine (this is when HcG levels are often highest). That being said, if it turns up negative, then go with what Shane said. Relax! My husband and I tried to conceive for over a year with no luck. A month after we decided to stop trying for a while and just relax, I got pregnant. :) Whether you are pregnant now or will be soon, best of luck to you.
Not crazy - but you will make yourself crazy from the stress you're putting on yourself. The mind and body are connected, and it's important not to stress too much. Personally, I make myself wait until 1 week after I'm supposed to start my period. I don't think stress is necessarily causing you to have problems conceiving or that relaxing will miraculously help you get pregnant. I do think that relaxing will help you enjoy the experience more (making a baby should be fun!) and help you handle the disappointment better if the tests continue to turn up negative. Good luck!
The earliest I got a BFP was 9dpo (days past ovulation for those who were asking).
If AF doesn't come tomorrow, take another test. Make sure you're using FMU when you test. If you still haven't started after four days, go get a blood test.
Good luck hon!
