I have just had my first visit with a fertility Dr. She was great but gave us some much information at once. Can any one help?? I had a tubal Ligation Done about 4 years ago. Now we are checking our options for another pregancy. I would like to try IVF so that after wards we would still not have to worry about pregancy, since our first two were born only 16 months apart!Are there any ways to get finicial help with the costs of all the prceedures and tests. And has anyone gone through it that can share some support. I want a thrid child but the cost is amazing and there are so many terms to figure out, and medications to take HELP!!
Well due to the finicial strain the process would cause we have opted to stay a 2 child family, but in the course of events my niece who is three is staying with us a while and this has helped us with the want of another child. Thanks for all of your support.

I had my tubes cut, tied and burned..so is there a reversal to this as well? Or just a cut or tie can be reversed??
Hi E.. I did IVF in 2003 and had twin boys in 2004. However, I did this while still living in CA so my knowledge in the greater Cincinnati area is limited. A great source to pick a good clinic is the CDC website found at: http://www.cdc.gov/ART/ART2004/index.htm Though it sounds like you may have already selected a clinic? Anyway, the CDC site is how I selected my clinic and had success the first time. As for the process, I am more than happy to answer any questions. It all sounds very confusing, but it all comes together. My doctor created a calendar for me that showed exactly when and what to expect both medically and financially. I completely understand how confusing and overwhelming fertility treatments can be. Unfortunatly last I knew Paramount insurance was the only one who paid anything for fertility although the coverage was limited. I went through over 5 years of treatment because I inexplicably could not conceive. I concluded with attempting IVF. If you would like to contact me I can answer any questions you may have. We have five children and while sperated(very briefly) many years ago my husband had a vasectomy. We have been back together for over ten years and in those years we have looked for a way to finace his reversal. The only place we ever came close was a group that helped you finance your reversal. We finally resigned ourselves to the fact that he had made a dission that we could not afford to reverse. The sucess rate for the reversal was pretty low also. We have been looking into becoming foster parents. I prayed a lot for another child and God seen fit to give me one in another way. Two years ago we were given full custody of our nephew, it seems that his parents didn't want him anymore(he is ADHD). Just be careful that fertility stuff turned my bestfriend in to a monster and a wreck. Good luck with what ever path you take, remember that every child needs someone special.
