I'm trying to find a preschool for my 2yr old and 4yr old. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with St Catherine's Preschool Program in Carrollton?

What can I do next?

We went to Norkirk first and then to St Catherine's. I have never had a better school experience. The staff is awesome. They learn alot and you can go up there if you want to. They are SUPER and I could not say enough about them. Not to mention the car line.... That gives you an extra 5 minutes quiet time... I thought I would hat ethe pick up car line at first but you really grow accustomed to it. By the end of the year I loved it. I hope you go. I also hope your child is old enough to get Ms. Melissa she is awesome. The other teacher was awesome too but she went on to teach Kindergarten after we left. I seriously considered driving back there last year just so my son could go back... We moved to far north Frisco. It just wasn't possible but I love the school.

My daughter went there a few years ago for a year. It is not an open door policy which I did not like, and the staff was not very friendly, but she learned a lot and had some fun. My younger son went to Christ United in Farmers Branch (Dennis and Valwood), and I absolutely loved it. The teachers are friendly, it is a more relaxed atmosphere and also has an open door policy. I know some of the teachers on a personal level as well as the director and would definately recommend Christ United to anyone. It is a bit more of a drive but well worth it. Good luck. C.

I have NOT sent my kiddos there but several of my friends have and I have not heard one complaint from them. They have only said good things about it.

We go to First Baptist Church of Carrollton's weekday preschool which I happen to love. : )

I've had all 4 of my children go through St. Catherine's Preschool and can't recommend it enough. My son just "graduated" from their program and he loved it. Teachers and directors are all great with the children. It's a very nurturing environment and the kids learn a lot.

I have a friend whose daughter went for one year and had the same concerns about the open door policy. My son went to Pre-K at Holy Covanent on Josey at Peter's Colony. The director has been there for about 20 years and is wonderful. They encourage parent involvement and it is very child centered. The also have an accredited Kindergarten.
