You can do an Amazing Race kind of thing where he has to go to different places and pick up things along the weay that tell him where to be next then get a room and tell him he is the first one to arrive and show him a sexy pre kids night.

I'm a 7.5 month pregnant Passion Party Consultant, we have lots of neat items, I can send you catalogs if you'd like. I'm currently on hiatus with gestational diabetes and am not doing home presentations but contact me through my email if you'd like me to mail you the catalogs: ____@____.com or ____@____.com - We have an 8 year old, a 1 year old and this next one will be here 12/28...but we still keep the romance going. Also see Passionparties.com to view items. I have some romantic discontinued items available as well.

I'm glad your "will" for romance is still alive, this is the best gift in itself you can present to your hubby.

It's amazing what a hot oil massage with the Super Deluxe Love Smitten, The Bullet and the kids at a babysitter can spark.

Good luck.

I saw someone in San Francisco recently who got out of the car with her man blindfolded and set up a picnic at the park. It was cute!

I have a really good friend who is a professional photographer. She'll take tasteful pix of you in lingerie, nude covered with sheer fabric, etc. and make your husband a "little black book." However shy/covered or adventurous you want to be! It's totally up to you. Your hubby will be pleasantly surprised and it will be a gift that will keep on giving all year long! :-) If this sounds like something you want to do, send me a message and I'll give you her information. You'd have to plan to do it pretty quickly though because it takes a couple of weeks for her to make the photo book.

Merry Christmas!!

Hire a sitter and go out for a nice dinner, or if you can swing it, get the kids outta the house and hire a catered dinner by candlelight. If you are thinking lingere, Victoria's secret has a little red two piece outfit with faux fur... the bottoms are boy shorts. It might even have a matching hat...

Here in Palo Alto we have a spa called Watercourse Way-- you can get your own room with a hot tub, 'cold plunge', a shower, and a table for-- well, I think it's *for* massages, but they don't label it that way! ;-) An hour costs about $50, and I highly recommend it for a romantic gift. I can't wait to see what other suggestions you get!

I saw something about the "12 dates of Christmas" but you wouldn't necessarily need to do all 12 in December. And dates don't have to be expensive.
Good luck!

Here's a GREAT, low-cost surprise!!!
I once went to the fabric store and bought some wide, red silk ribbon, hired an out-of-the-house babysitter to take the kids during the last few hours of my husband's day at work... then showered, loofa'd, moisturized, and layered scents from head to toe, put on my make up, did my hair... and waited at the top of the stairs for my husband to come home... nude, with only the ribbon tied around me (Miss America "Sash" style with a bow tied in it), and when my husband (eyes bulging out of his head!) approached me, I handed him a pair of scissors without saying a single word. MAN!!! Did we have a remarkable time that night!!! :-) HE LOVED IT!!!

Romantic... does he like to read... google personalized books and get a book with him and you as the characters... I did this for my husband on our wedding day. Fun... can he drive a stick... last Christmas I got my husband a session out at the All American Speedway to drive a racecar... he loved it.

H.,
For our first Christmas together we could not afford much. So I found at work an Xmas stocking(that was for a display) that was the size of a sleeping bag. (You could easily make one, IF you can sew?)
Anyway, since we could not afford much I was able to purchase the stocking from work, then I made myself a sash (like the ones for beauty queens). On Christmas Eve, after he went to bed I got in the stocking with the sash on & - - - ....slept under the tree. This is where he found me the next morning. I had printed his name on the stocking, & sash. He got to "unwrap" me so to speak.
After almost 30 yrs together he still says that was the most romantic thing he has ever heard of!!!!
Hope this was what you were looking for.....

So some fun and free ideas would be to make up a coupon book with coupons for fun, kid freindly and non kid freindly things.

Some fun things that can happen when kids are in the house: Foot massage (clean feet please!) Candle lit dinner, dad chooses movie night, dad chooses family game night, dad gets some quite time alone (dads do need this too). You could have your kids help with these coupons! I could go on....

For the hubby and wife only items: Candle light bubble bath for two, massage, paint me with chocolate, two tickets to paradise (wink!) Etc.

I think I am so doing this for my husband this year since money is tight!!

Have fun! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Let me start by saying I am Passion Parties Consultant...so I do fun, free and tasteful parties for women where we talk about ways to enhance your romance <shameless plug :)>. That being said, most men would be thrilled to be treated like their wives "boyfriend" again and get something fun and romantic in their stocking or to unwrap something a little more sexy than a shaving mirror for the shower (in private of course!)

A couple suggestions:
You could make or purchase a coupon book with things like "Good for one free massage" or "Good for one free breakfast in bed" or "Good for one free goof off day" You could make a few wilder ones too. Cost - Free to $8-&10 dollars to purchase them.

Pamper him with a spa treatment - like a manicure or a pedicure. Cost - free if you have the supplies at home to $50 at salon/spa.

Give him the gift of you. Give him your full attention, time and a little romance. Cost - a baby sitter.

As a Mom of 2 little ones too I completely understand that it is so hard to fit it anything else into your day when sometimes you barely have time to tinkle but taking the time to nurture your relationship with your honey pays you back expodentially! Your whole family reaps the rewards.

Merry Christmas!
P.S. If you would like some more suggestions you can email me off line at ____@____.com.
