Hi Mamas! I delivered my 23 month old at Lovelace Women's Hospital. My experience there was good and would of been better had my labor been a little easier. My health insurance now feeds into Pres. I was able to secure my 1st prenatal appt with a Dr. that was recommended to me. Could you share with me your experiences delivering there? I think I will probably have to schedule a c-section because of my experience having my daughter (I had HELLP and preeclampsia). Any information would be appreciated!
I delivered my daughter at Pres just last October. They took excellent care of me and my baby. After I had her, I was in and out in 24 hours. They are VERY busy on the recovery floor. Lots of new moms when I was there.
May I also inquire where you send your daughter to daycare? I am looking for someone, or somewhere three days a week.
I just had a c-section at Pres. It was a great experience for me. the nurses are terrific. They are great help and take great care of you and the baby. They want to get you on your feet as soon as you are ready so you can heal faster and get out of the hospital as soon as you are ready to. They are good with making sure you have what you need. The c-section experience is scary but the nurses and the doc I went to were great. The anestheiologist is good at talking you through things and making sure you are ok. I am very thankful that i delivered at Pres because of the great care I received.
You are in a wonderful place!! I had my son there and it was great!! It was remodeled not to long ago and is very comfortable and the staff was wonderful! Don't worry!

I deleveried both of my boys at Pres downtown and I love it! They are very good. The nurses are more then willing to answer any questions you may have. They are very nice and when you are sleeping they try not to wake you. They take good care of the people in the room with you also. My Dr. was awesome also. I was induced with my last baby, had him in december, and the nurse ended up delivering because he decided he was coming and the doctor did not have time to get her gloves on. I delivered my daughter there. My experience was wonderful. The delivery room itself had comfy recliners and a radio etc. My Mom was there with me and she also felt very comfortable. I live in belen but come to Abq. frequently. I have a 14 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. Send me a message if maybe you would like to get together for lunch or somethng.
