Any Pediatrician Recommendations near Harlem Irving Area?

I've looked through a lot of recommendations in the Oak Park/River Forest and Park Ridge areas, but am hoping for some references a little closer to home. We moved to Dunning from Albany Park last year and I'm hoping to not have a 20-30 minute drive! Our current pediatrician is about 45 mins away, and while those areas might be an improvement, I don't want to miss someone great under my nose. Any references are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I love our pediatrician. His name is Dr. Jonathon Powell. He is out of Resurrection Medical Center, on Talcott, just west of Harlem. Office number: ###-###-####. He is extremely personable. My sons who are 4 an 6 have had him I think for a couple years now and love him. (Same dr. being referenced earlier. He shares the practice with Dr. Toussaint. Dr. Toussaint is fine, just not as personable, or talkative.) Dr. Powell always remembers little details about them when we visit (e.g., what music they like, what they're into)

I take my son to Dr. Powell, who is out of Resurrection (Harlem & Talcott). He is fairly new to the practice (about a year) and I like him much better than the other Ped, Dr. Toussaint.

Hope that helps.

4 blocks east of Harlem on Addison is a family practice called Prime Care. My son went there before we moved from the neighborhood. I continued to take him there for a year after we moved. They had three doctors when we left. I'm not sure if the practice has grown or not. I can't say the doctors were exceptional but I still am waiting for a pediatrician that will knock my socks off. I can say they were professional, thorough and I appreciated always being able to get in to see a doctor. They did have weird hours but there was always a Dr. on call and they were always great at returning calls. They have a play area for kids and the nurses were really great. They are also associated with Resurrection Hospital.

Good luck in your search.

Dr. Youhana Yousefi

He is an older man but he is great. At times you don't even have to go into the office. If you have a question regarding your children he won't make you come in if it's something he can just advise you to do over the phone. He has been my children's pediatrician for over 10 years. His office is out of Resurrection on Harlem & Talcot right off of the expressway. He also works out of Lutheran General in Park Ridge and they offer a variety of services for children. You will not be disappointed. Tell him D. Jordan sent you, here is his information. One other thing, he is very good at what he does, he had my son go to a specialist because at the early age of 2 he noticed signs of autism and he was right. Because he was able to determine this early on my son has made unbelieveable improvement.
