Hello! This is a weird question but...my husband and I are looking for a new couch, and we like the ones at living spaces because you can mix and match them to fit your space. They are also comfortable, but when we sat on them we could hear like a crunching noise. We opened the pillows and it looks like there is a down pillow top wrapped around the foam cushion, which is making the noise. Is the noise coming from the material of the cover, or is it the down? I know down sometimes makes a crunchy kind of noise. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this. It was kind of annoying, it felt like there was plastic underneath us, which isn't necessarily comfy and cozy for a couch, but we wondered if if goes away after a while. I appreciate any advice!
I haven't bought a couch. But, I have bought other things. My experience w/' living spaces is that nothing is made very well, but it looks good. personally, I have had better lasting/hardiness from stuff from Ikea. that being said, I'll shop at living spaces again, because of price, and i have 3 kids, and truly, how long is anything going to last w/ them?
I don't have one. However, we bought our dining set there and I've been VERY unhappy with the quality. We bought our living room set at Mathis Bros and it seems like the quality is a lot better. Make check there. Good luck.
We have the sectional couch from Living Spaces. We have a chaise, sofa bed in the middle and the cuddle corner and we LOVE it. I don't remember ever hearing a crunching noise. Perhaps this was only on the display couch. The only thing about ours was, when we got it, it was a little harder than the display but we've had it for about a year now and it's definitely settled in. It's so comfortable and didn't take much time to soften up at all.
Don't know anything about Living Spaces, but we have purchased lots of things from Lazy Boy and they have several sectionals that you can customize to your space. Great quality -- watch for the sales so you don't pay full price.
