Anyone Having or Had Adverse Reactions Related Ot Birth Control Device or Pills?

I had a weird reaction to Ocella...I think it's generic for Yazmine. I didn't have a reaction to it though until about 4 years later!! I started to get nasty itchy sun rashes on my chest once I started to feel hot being out in the sun. One summer I couldn't step outside without if flaring up. It was so nasty and I got stared at everywhere I went. My doctor tested me for lupus and nothing! I asked her about the ingredient drosperinone (don't know if I spelled that right) and she said it would not cause something like that. About 2 days of not taking that pill, the rashes stopped. I was so relieved!!

About 5-6 years ago I started taking the birth control brand Yaz. My GYN recommended it to help with PMDD. It was on it for two weeks and was having heart palpitations and felt faint. I quit taking it after two weeks, and the symptoms disappeared. I later started seeing commercials on TV of personal injury attorneys filing claims for people who had suffered side effects of Yaz. Scary!

There is nothing new about those potential adverse effects. Tons of warnings on the label. Biggest one is don't smoke because smokers are more likely the ones to have the bad side effects. My doctor won't even prescribe to a smoker.

I haven't found a birth control pill yet that doesn't give me negative symptoms.

I had really bad panic attacks, mood swings, and dizziness on the pill and even worse symptoms on the depo shot. My hair started falling out, I had heart irregularity, I could not sleep, and I passed out twice. I only took the shot once but it last for 3 months.
