Anyone Heard of Arbonne and the Figure 8 Weight Loss Program?

Sorry I don't know about the weight loss program, but I do love the baby products...especially the baby wash, lotion, and diaper cream. My 8 month old is allergic to a lot of products, but not this one!

I am a personal trainer. Any system will work if you stick with it. I like Arbonne products, but there's nothing magical about them or any other product.

Anyone who wants to lose needs to control food intake and workout regularly. Forever.

I use this website a lot to check out products - I am always looking for safe, non-toxic, green products.

I find this interesting in that this is my first day on Mamasource and there is a question regarding Arbonne. I am an indepedent consultant for Arbonne as well. Regarding the Figure 8 I have not personally used the weight loss products for wieght loss although I have tasted them. They taste pretty good and their are a lot of reciepes available. Ask the representative for the information available on meal planning. I have tried the new Fizz Tablets which give you a quick boost and are so easy to take with you anywhere and just add to water. They have a refreshing citrus taste and can be served at room temperature or cold.

I will testify to the vitamins. They really made a difference for me. And the skin care is amazing. I would never go without it now.

I am a health nut, and I would say that although their is no pill in itself to make you lose wieght... the right supplements along with healthy eating make a difference. For one thing if you are getting the required nutrients our body stops craving foods.

I have looked into Arbonne, not the figure 8, and have found their products to be worth the cost. They are all natural and safe for you and your family. I would say if you have the coin, it is wroth a try... as long as you are willing to put your effort into!

Man I wish there was a magic little pill... it is hard with little ones in tow to eat right! Another thing I do, is keep a food journal. If I have to write everything down that I eat, I think twice about some of my choices!

I don't know about the weight loss products, A., but I use some of the skin care products and they're wonderful.

I use the Arbonne Re-9 skin care line. I love the products. They are expensive but once you start buying there are different ways throughout the year to get half off etc which the rep can explain to you. The only issue I have is that once you sign up/begin buying the product they do want you to join their sales team. I don't have any interest in that and was clear about it from the beginning. However, I do think that it can be a good opportunity if it's something that you are interested in.Let me know if you have any other specific questions about the product.

Hi, Arbonne can be expensive but it is worth it. The products last-you only need a little bit at a time. I had started about 2 years ago with their intelligence line, but now have switched to their nutri-mn vitamin c-anti aging products and they are great. I am actually just starting to sell their products because they are so good. Not many people have heard of them. They also have a wonderful line of baby products. Another thing that I like about Arbonne is that it is all natural...there are only a few all natural products that you can find in stores. They also offer a 45 day return policy. I don't go on this site ever day, but today decided to check in and saw your request! Meant to be! The best thing to do is TRY products first! Like you I was intrigued but didn't want to spend $$ and have it not work, etc. I tried the Arbonne Skin care 2 yrs ago and it made a HUGE difference in my skin. the shakes are powder, and have a really weird chalky taste. The daily detox tea is good. I also liked the candy. I was unsuccessful with the program. I wanted to lose about 10 pounds. A couple of my neighbors are doing weight watchers and they really like how that is working for them. For me Arbonne Figure 8 was really expensive, did not taste good and I eventually threw it out.

I can see that you have gotten a lot of feedback. I also have a business with Arbonne after using the products decided this was the way to go. Contact the person you met and let her share with you how to become a Wholesale shopper. you will not have to sell or anything like that. You will get the products at a significant discount. As for th "taste" of the shakes. My kids will even steal them from me to drink them. I do mix then with Soy milk or non-fat milk and still have the weight loss results. Good luck with it. I think you will be happy with the products. It will take a couple of days to really start to feel more energy and your cravings will die down. Then you will notice how good you feel.

I am currently using Figure 8 as well as several Arbonne skin care products. I really like it. It suppresses my appetite, give me energy, but doesn't make me crazy and jumpy like some energy drinks can do to me. I would ask your rep to try a sample tablet before you buy. (If she won't do this I will give you one or my rep will I'm sure) Their skin care is fabulous, too. I joined as a member ($29 then $10 per year each year going forward) so I get a nice discount on all that I buy. Not sure if your Arbonne person told you all this. I know a couple of ladies that have tried figure 8 and have lost weight. You can replace 1 to 2 meals per day with a protein shake. And I know that they drink the tea detox and drink the energy fizz tablets daily. And have shed weight.

I too am an independent consultant. But as a certified trainer, with a specialty in women's health and wellness, and a Master's in Public Health the products are very good and agree to look on the EWG website. The drawback is that if you are pregnant or nursing, you cannot use the product line. There is a herb in the protein powders that pregnant and nursing women must stay away from. But the is no magic program, it is consume less than you expend, aim to eat 1500-1800kcal per day, (not knowing your weight) exercise and weight train. IT is not losing weight that is hard, it is maintaining the weight loss that most people have a hard time with! The program will give you a good guideline to follow. I really enjoy the protein shakes and make smoothies with them in the morning, the shake alone is not enough to be a meal replacement. Good luck with whatever you decide. I have been using the skin care products for 2 years and love them, and just started using the figure 8 chews, and the fizzy tab drinks, too, since actually signing on as a consultant.
I like the peanut butter chews the best, but the chocolate aren't bad, either. The fizzy tabs are great - they give you energy without a buzz, and help me feel like I'm burning more calories. I haven't tried the shakes yet, but will soon.

As far as the skincare goes, it depends on what you're looking for. I've learned more about organic products vs. the Arbonne products, and I have chosen to switch skincare. Yes, I have used the arbonne re9 line which is there skin care for the mature skin & I love it all. I really don't know much about the weight loss program but in my experince of battling the blug & I've try alot. I always go back to slim fast for breakfast & lunch then a snack in the afternoon & a nice dinner. Its inexpensive & really does fill you up. I love Chocolate so it helps with that craving as well. My personal opinion of the figure 8 products is somewhat limited since I have been pregnant or nursing since being introduced to the line. I love the chews, and use the shakes with coffee (like a latte) since I am not a huge fan of the flavor of powdered shakes. I know people who love and hate them!

Yes I have heard of and I tried the Figure 8 program ( Last summer). It didn't really work for me ( I'm 57) - the protein drink in the morning or whenever ( I can't really rmember the plan that well) and then the teas and the pills ( now they really di help curb your appetite, I would take them sometimes afterwards to stave off hunger). I did good for two weeks and lost probably 12 lbs, ( of course 8 was water) and then I fell off the wagon. The chews were good but unless you really feel that you can drink liquids for a meal replacment I wouldn't invest in it - I still have a can of the powder left.......Yes, I gained that weight back and now I'm determined to go back to WW - it really is the best diet and works best for me. Good luck if you decide to try it. By the way, one of the nurses in my doctors office was on it and she had lost 45 pounds and was hanging in with it. She has stuck with it, but admits that it is hard ( I saw her last week.) She may have lost another 20 lbs.

Yes, I have heard of Arbonne. My sister is a consultant for this product and she's hosting a party this Saturday, March 15th. I have tried their hand cream, face cream and lipstick and I love it. I don't know about the weight program, but I've used the skin care products for 2 years. They are expensive, but I like them. I'm 46 and had never really used products or splurged on myself, so I decided to try it and I've continued with it.

Hi, I don't know about the Arbonne weight loss program. However, the cosmetics are marketed as if they are 'natural' and that is a huge misnomer. (my guess is that the rest of their products are as well) They have natural ingredients for sure, but they also have things like Sodium Hyaluronate,Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Behenyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Thioctic Acid, Butylene Glycol and more that are on the list of things to avoid in skin care products. Sounds like a science experiment not a "Natural product" to me. (You won't find an ingredient list anywhere on any website - you have to ask specifically for a label, and who is going to do that?) Also, as an R.N., I do know that isolated, fragmented vitamins are rarely good for anything and have been proven not to prevent disease which is why most people are looking into them. A Whole Food Concentrate like Juice Plus is much better for you. Highly researched and nothing but food. They have a weight management program also. Mary T

I've heard of Arbonne and actually spoke to a rep. a few times who gave me some samples and a catalog. They were facial products and to tell you the truth, they just seemed over priced and didn't do much- for me. It might be different for others with other skin types. As far as weight loss is concerned, the old fashioned way works the best. I used to work for a fitness facility and believe in them so much I'm now just a memeber- I have no free time to work. It sucks, but the healthiest way to lose and the way to keep it off is working at it. We all had to re-train our mouths from the "I can eat whatever I want, I'm pregnant" to the "I want it but I don't" and then hopefully overcome it. I give in- it's normal and healthy to, but Spring is here and it's the best time to put your tot in a stroller and speed walk outside. I go to the mall before it opens- since we're up anyway- and walk there in the winter. But the biggest is diet and exercise. I get up at 5:45 to work out before my family wakes up and be home. I do a quick 30 min. workout 3x a week and I deserve it. I don't mess up anyone's schedule, but everyone thinks I'm nuts. I've lost almost all the baby fat, a couple are left and I'm ok with that. It's a lifestyle change- not just a quick diet. Those don't work. If you want, I can give you the name of the club. It's all women and truly works if you use it. Many times there will be a club that opens early around your area. Hope it helps. Oh, one more thing. While my son is in the bath playing and I have to sit in there, I do some crunchies and leg lifts, whatever I can to get a bit in!

I went to an Arboone party, and I ordered the kids lotion and shampoo for my kids with mild eczema and was unimpressed. My daughter said it burned her face. I didn't order anything else. I have a couple of friends that do sell it, and really love everything. I also got a free sample of their skin care regimem, and didn't love that either. I'm sticking with philosophy products. Hi! I've never tried the weight loss program, but I use the Intelligence Daily Moisturizing cream Day & Night and I love it! You only have to use a little bit at a time so it really lasts!!! This moisturizer really makes my skin soft, but not oily! Good luck!

I used the Figure 8 Detox tea and I can't say it did anything for me, but I liked the taste. The weight loss chews taste good, but have sugar/corn syrup in them which is a bit contradictory. As for the RE9 antiaging skincare line - I absolutely love it! I can't live without the eye cream! It's great! Most of the skin care/makeup products are good. I use the mineral powder foundation, mascara, hand & foot creams, skin conditioning oil, lip glosses, lipsticks, and various other things. Hope this helps.
