I can't believe I'm even saying the "N word", but I'm heading back to work in abuot 4 weeks, and my husband wants me to look into a Nanny! She would be needed from 2pm till maybe 6 or 7 weekdays, and that's about it. But where do I even begin to look? Any advice would be appreciated!

Try gonannies.com - they do background checks, etc. - have a guarantee....pretty risk free. You're not looking for fulltime, so maybe you could check out their Nannyshare (I think called Domestishare?) - it's new, and helps match you to another family to utilize a nanny together fulltime. I ended up hiring nannies from enannysource.com and would recomment them. I also got some good candidates from sittercity.com (though overall more babysitter caliber than nanny-like) and last summer I considered an excellent woman from criagslist.
Good luck. I really enjoyed having a nanny (until my son was 2) as it was much easier leaving the house every day - lower stress - and I knew he was in his space which was good.
