April Fool's Jokes

Big fake spider floating in the toilet!!! Works everytime!!! I'm doing it in the morning...my grandson (10) is spending the night...and I am ready.

I can't give you any jokes, because I hate being teased like that, but here's my current favorite April Fool quote if you can use it somehow:

I asked my friend to pee on a pregnancy stick for me to fool my husband (she's pregnant of course). She wouldn't. Grrrr.

Two years ago my OTHER friend wouldn't. Grrr.

What's the big deal? A little pee on a little stick? I'll BUY the stick! I'll PUT it in a plastic baggie!

So ... that was my only plan. I don't know what I'll do tomorrow since that plan flopped.

I don't know how this would work with your friends, but when my brother and I were in high school, our mom came into our rooms (individually) at 6am (it was a Saturday or Sunday) and told us to go out and shovel the driveway so she could get to work. What? She said it snowed at least a foot and the driveway needed shoveling - NOW! I grumbled, got out of bed and got dressed for snow. By the time I reached the living room and saw that it was full sunshine and warm out, my mom was rolling with laughter. I don't think my brother made it out of his room.

She did have a nice breakfast ready though.

I can *never* think of anything good....meaning, funny, but harmless ;)

My grandma used to get my Dad EVERY year, though. She was elderly and lived alone, so she'd call my Dad first thing in the morning (5am or so) and ask him to come and fix the water heater or furnace or something. He's shlep over there and when he'd walk in the door she'd very non-chalantly say "oh, April fools!"

friends are hard............ family memebers are easier under the same roof.
Short change the sheets, mix the cereal boxes up with inserts, stuff the shoe, hide the car

I forgot.. Our daughter places Googly Eyes on everything on April Fools.. Framed Photos are the best.. But funny to find them on the toilet paper roll, the milk carton, the car keys.. etc,, She purchases the assorted bag of them.. Hilarious.

We used to bake cotton balls into cupcakes. The secret is to put a bit of batter in the bottom of the cupcake paper and then place eith a really big cotton ball or 3 little ones in and then batter on top.. Bake and ice as usual.

Or we would purchase the little foil pie tins and place crust on the bottom, fill with cotton balls top with another crust, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.. bake until crust is cooked.
