Are You Selling Your Car Seat???

We cannot afford to buy another car seat at full price. Is anyone about to sell or have a garage sale that would include a car seat for a toddle size. My 4 year old is very tiny and still uses a regular car seat and my soon to be one year old weights a much as my 4 year old:(!!!! Although it would be cheaper to get a booster seat for my oldest, his weight and frame is not there for that type of seat. Ebay is way over priced and Craiglist makes me nervous.
So if you are about to sell or know someone who is about to get rid of a car seat for low price please let me know.
Thank you ladies!!!

talk to your auto insurance company, many of them will sell you a new seat for $25 or something like that. i would really caution you to find a way to get a NEW seat, you will never truly know the history of the seat you get second hand... carseats can have "invisible" damage, they can look great, but have structural damage causingthem to not perform properly in an accident. not something you want to take a chance with. i would go with the $45-$50 cosco scenera if it will work with the size of your kids(not sure if it rear faces which you def still need for your little one) before i'd buy a "better" carseat secondhand. contact the hospitals, fire dept, and find out where/how you can get a free carseat. i wish you the best of luck!

We have an extra car seat that we are willing to part with. It is an Eddie Bauer car seat. The lock mechanism with the strap is like a puzzle piece that can be challenging at times. That is the only complaint I have, because I have hand problems!

I work with Easter Seals and people who happen to have a disability. I've worked with a Down's Syndrome client and he was joy! We've been foster parents and have had special needs kids in our home. We've experienced so much joy from the foster kids, especially the special needs kids. We've seen so much positive change in their lives over time with therapy, prayer, lots of love and structure/discipline.

If you are interested, let me know. We'd be willing to take however much you can afford to give us.

What field is your husband in? My husband's work may be doing some hiring (he works in the Engineering/Architectural/Interior Decorating-A/E Firm.) He gets a bonus if someone he refers gets hired on.

God Bless!

A.,

I have a car seat that is a little used but in very good condition. My daugther is now 6 and we don't use it at all.

If you're interested, I'd love for you to have it. No cost.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Take care and God bless!
