L.P.
I used to think that if everyone in my family wore a Cowboys shirt the day of the game, they would win. That worked really well in the early 90's, since then I have literally walked to the trash can after a loss and thrown away shirts! Haha!
About what?
I am about watching sports on TV. I believe if I sit and watch the game, my team will lose. If I have it on but am doing something else in another room, they will win. I'm about .500 with that theory lol.
I LOVE the Saints! I'm a cajunwannabe :)

no, not I. And last hockey season (when the Hawks took the Cup) I fell victim to my FIL's superstition - I had to be in the basement (our apartment at the time) during the Hawks game b/c it appeared that when I was anywhere else they lost. Now, the team has NO FRIGGIN clue where I am and I do not matter but he was CONVINCED!! We were in the middle of potty training and I HAD to take my little one to the potty and they missed the goal the second I opened the door according to him. Good Grief.
Well then please DO NOT watch the Saints this weekend. :) Just cook with it on in the other room. ;)
Only about telling people good news before it's final. Like if I find out that we have money coming, if I tell someone before I have the money in hand, something is sure to come along and screw it all up.
Not really. I'm not a Triskaidekaphobe.
I typically do NOT walk under ladders - not because of superstitions but due to common sense.
I don't like black cats crossing my path - so maybe in that aspect I am.
The saying goes - if you build it - they will come...
you can talk yourself into anything and rationalize things...to come out however you want....
HAVE FUN!!
.
How funny!!! I personally never thought I was like that but my son swears if I sit with him and watch a mavs game they will lose! I watched the last two games of the world series with him and my rangers lost. Maybe there us some science to this...........
***go denver***
I do believe in the supernatural, does that count?
I don't believe in like the number 13 or black cats, or sports, I don't watch sports at all, but I do believe in ghosts and spirits, and my mom and dad have both had experiences, so we believe in that.
only in positive ways!
but my husband insists that i ruined the orioles by washing his 'lucky hat' after their last world series win in '83........

I am with Black Crowes. For some reason or another, every time I see one sitting in my yard, or near my home, something negative usually coincides with them. It's like a warning or something. It wasn't just a one time occurrance, either.
HaHa...I'm just like you! If there is a no hitter going on and a channel changes to that game and I haven't been watching the game...I can't watch it because I am convinced I will jinx it! My hubby loves to challenge it with me! During the Cardinals run in the World Series, I couldn't leave the seat I was in! I didn't want to jinx anything! I admit...I'm a touch crazy! I blame my upbringing on baseball and playing softball...very superstitious!
