not sure if this is too far for you, but "Van Grow" art studio is awesome for kids. they are on 7th st in Ft worth close to Camp Bowie. Very cute place. the kids love it there!

Michaels also offers some little classes where all you pay for is the supplies.

Dont know if hurst is too far but their rec center has an art class opening up the first week of june, it runs in two sessions of 4 weeks each and costs only 15 each session! Good luck
