first tooth fall out? DD turned 6 last month & she has one that's loose but still has a way to go before falling out. I'm interested to see the age range. :-)

What can I do next?

My daughter, now 17, lost her first 2 teeth in preschool! I was shocked. By age 10 she had lost each tooth she was supposed to plus had her 12 yr molars.

She has a perfect set of teeth, beautiful, no ortho needed at all. We've been fortunate but she also has good genes.

My daughter lost her first one at 6 years 3 months. My son is almost six and his one tooth is barely loose. I've heard it is similar to when you lost your tooth and when they got their first one. I was close to 7 when I lost my first tooth, and my kids and I were all late in getting our teeth to begin with, so I expected them to be late loosing them. Most of the kids that we know that were early loosers also got their teeth really early. their is a wide range of normal.

I was 5.

Our daughter was also 5.

FYI, The order the teeth came in, is the same order they will fall out.

My daughter had Easter pictures made the Spring before she started Kindergarten. She had zero teeth fro eye tooth to eye tooth bottom and top. She had already lost 8.

The 8 yr. old girl has lost 10, top four front, bottom 4 front, plus the eye teeth on the bottom.

The 5 yr. old boy has several bottom teeth loose right now. He is in Pre-K.

Mine is 5 now, two teeth are wiggly and refusing to come out..the big ones are coming in behind them! Part of me it tempted to pop an apple in her mouth just to get the little bugger out!

I'm 46. When I was a kid you'd see school pictures with missing front teeth in 2nd grade and 3rd grade pictures were with kids with their new big front teeth. These days I hear kids losing teeth in kindergarten! My two older boys were 2nd grade. They're now 25 and nearly 17. My 7 year old triplets started losing teeth in kindergarten. There were some kids in their preschool class, a few, that were losing their first teeth. I'm not sure why it's earlier now.

5 turning 6 in a month. Last week of school. Since he was the youngest in his class, he was HEARTBROKEN about being the only lid without a tooth fairy visit yet ;) Whew! Bullet dodged!

At 5 my DS lost his 1st tooth. He has lost his 2nd bottom tooth (5.5yo) and now has a front tooth that is slightly loose (now 6). It does vary.

I am so there. My daughter is a September baby so very close to the oldest in her class. She's past 6 1/2 and... Nothing! No teeth have been lost. She did get her teeth very early though. Around 4 months.

61/2 and she's only lost two of her teeth. She will be 7 on Thursday and no sign of the others coming out anytime soon.

However, our cousin who is 6 weeks younger than her has lost 5 and the other cousin that is a year younger has lost three.

You just never know...

ETA: She had all but a few teeth before she was one...many more than the cousins (four girls all born within 6 weeks of each other). And they have all lost more than she has. I'm not worried about it. But she is!
