We had planned on doing a carnival party and have games and booths with games, etc., but we just moved and our new yard is a SERIOUS hill. There is NO way that we can do that now. We'll be doing the party in June. Our family is huge, and we'll be having about 30 people over here, with kids ranging from 2-14, most of them being between 4-10.
Any ideas for a cute themed party for her? We already did a slumber party.
Hi, How about having a Scribble Cakes cake decorating party? It was SERIOUS fun. The kids stay entertained, it was amazing. They do any theme. If you are worried about a mess, don't worry! Truly, there was none. They brought covering for the floor and the covering left clean. The tables were also provided. Best part is that the kids ate what they decorated. Their information is under local businesses here if you like the idea.
My sister is a professional clown and works in that area. She does balloons, face painting and a magic show. Even the older kids love her, so it's good for the wide age range. You can see her website here:

Also, she doesn't have to come dressed as a clown, she can just come as an entertainer.
We rented a bouncy house last year (9th b-day) and I thought we'd have to get other games together and it turns out that we didn't need to! If your yard has a big hill, they can put it in the front yard. Ours wasn't that big, but it sure was a big hit with kids (and adults!)
I have been think a Peace party theme doing tye dye would be fun for a dd and her friends.
Late June is perfect time to to do water slides! We too live on a hill and so we got out a bunch of little pools and set on the corners of the yard (flat part of the yard) for little kids, put out big Slip N Slides for bigger kids and had super soaker water guns for EVERYONE! (even adults) Everybody had the BEST time begging their parents to stay longer and parents had a ball because they got to act like kids.
I don't have any ideas, but I know a great cake decorator if you decide to do something customized. PM me if you're interested, and I'll give you the details.

At this age, they sometimes just want to do something with their friends... being older.
I only say this because, my daughter who is 8, for her last birthday didn't want to have a party and with all the family/relatives. Just a thing with her friends.
Slip and slide party. Put that serious hill to good use. Line some slip and slides up across it with kiddie pools at the bottom so people can race down the hill. You'd be surprised how much fun it is. Even the adults will get into it. You can do a Luaua theme and have kids running through sprinklers, playing in wading pools, and grownups drinking MaiTais on the patio. I'd go to that party.
