My little one has a cold; she has a stuffy nose, no fever, but is irritable. Anything I can do to help her sleep and feel more comfortable? Thanks!

What can I do next?

my son used to get stuffy alot..get a vaporizer if you don't already have one. elevate one side of the crib with a rolled towel,it helps to drain the sinuses and vicks vapor rub for babies it's not was mentholated as the original. it's really good. and little noses saline spray with the nasal aspirator helps to flush out the mucus and saline spray isn't medicated so it's safe for infants
that's all the tricks i used i hope it helps..if you have any more questions let me know

The vaporizer is the best thing I've found. If you have one that you can put a mentholated product in it works best. If not, Pediacare makes a mentholated plug-in that really clears the sinuses! Hope that helps. Hang in there!

I love the vicks vaporizer I swear by it you have to make sure you change the water and let it get dry so as not to grow yucky mold or bacteria in the unit
I also used ocean nasal drops for irrigating the nose to prevent sinus infection and keep things running so the little nose didnt get full of hard boggies.
Hylands homeopathic products work great too, i used to buy thier products at our local rite aid after a hippie mom around the corner recommened them.
I also gave a warm bottle of chamomile tea i think celestial seasons makes an herbal tea called sleepytime tea. I would give a warm bottle of that tea to mine sweetened just slightly with a good pinch or two of sugar and that always helped.
Hope your baby feels well soon, hope you feel well also when they are sick we become the be all and end all to them its very draining be sure to take care of yourself sometimes us moms forget all about that.
have a warm bath and some time for yourself so your wellness is adressed as well as the baby's.
Hope I helped
sending joy and peace your way
truly, MB

My daughter had a really bad cold. Call the doctor and see if he/she recomends a decongestent like Dimetapp. Thats what I used and she cleared up pretty quick.
