My son just turned one and needs to get his first haircut. Does anyone have a good suggestion on a kid friendly place (or fun place) in Plano or Frisco?

They have little "cars" that the kids sit in, and they have DVD players at each station that your son can watch while his hair is being cut. My son gets distracted very easily, so I just stood at the "front" of the car, and helped hold his head while his hair was being cut, but because he could also see the DVD, he didn't mind it very much!!
I take my 1 year old to Cool Cuts for Kids located inside Toys R Us in Frisco. He's only been there once but they did a nice job and he was very entertained. He sat in a fire truck chair and got to watch the wiggles on a tv right in front of him. Hope it works out for you!
I had bad luck with the stylists at Cool Cuts. One I trust more than anything is Julie, she happens to be my cousin, but she does GREAT work on kids. When her kids were little, she would sign up differrent day cares and go and cut hair on site. She has never missed with my kids either. Last I heard she was at SportsClips in Frisco. If you are that close it is well worth the phone call to see when she is working!
Cool Cuts 4 Kids is pretty good. They took my sons picture for his fist haircut. They also put the picture and a piece of his hair in a keepsake picture frame for me. I keep it in his keepsake box. Now my son loves SportClips! They give Awesome haircuts!!
