I don't know about that brand, but I do know that my kids were much better off with cloth diapers. I applaud you that in this day and age you want to use cloth diapers. It is definitely worth the extra effort.

Great that you are willing to try cloth diapers! I have used them on all 5 of my children, as well as disposables for traveling and on those "crazy days":)

With my first two children I used the basic cloth diaper, with rubber pants and pins. They were OK. When my friend introduced the MOTHER EASE diapers to me, I absolutely loved them!! They are very absorbant, easy to use, versatile (one size goes from newborn up to 40 lbs or so), and long lasting. You can go to their website and see the different packages they offer. You can also buy one diaper and wrap to see what they are like.

I use Motherease cloth diapers and love them. You can search for them on the internet...They have a deal on their site where you can try a set for a discounted price.

I have used them for my now 5 year old, 3year old and my newborn (2 months old). They are very easy to use b/c of their snaps and they have a variety of covers; I prefer the velcro closure.

I know nothing of the brand you're asking about, but there is a lot of info on cloth diapering on the internet. www.greenmountaindiapers.com is a wondeful site to look through things, see how they fit on different kids, and Karen, the woman who owns GMD, is very helpful if you email her (it doesn't matter whether or not you buy from her!). We're also a cloth diaper household (but don't stress too much about using 'sposies every now and then). We love the flat prefold kind with either a g-diaper or prowrap cover. That works (and was least expensive) for us. You have to go with what works and fits best for you. There are plenty of websites that sell "sampler" kits of cloth diapers so you can have a chance to try many different kinds without investing so much money upfront. Then, when you find one or two you like, you can buy more. We have found that 24 cloth flat prefolds (I like the Chinese cotton) and 5 covers (a combo of different styles) really works for us and I only have to wash the diapers about 2-3 times per week. Good luck finding your way.

I just want to say the G diapers ARE THE BEST,
Prowraps are indestructible

Basically I use a little g pant with a Cloth prefold,
dump the poo in the toilet and then rinse off the poo in the sink with hot water, Some folks swish it in the toilet I just don't like that.

Then I wash them in the laundry

You can easily reuse the little g pant for the rest of the day

I really think, if you wash everyday, you could get away with just 3, 5 if you wash every other day.

Its cheaper in the long run and super easy,

and G diapers are just like regular diapers as far as how they function.

Trust me, these are the way to go,

the best thing is that they have disposable inserts,
so when your baby gets older and the poo's really stink,
you don't need to carry the poo diaper around with you,

you can just toss it, and flush it.

I haven't tried baby beehind diapers, however I have tried some others so I could give you advice on them. So far my favorite overnight diapers are sugar peas windpro fleece covers. since they are fleece you can wash and dry them (not possible with many covers) and they are very absorbent, stopped nighttime leaks for us. During the day I use either Bummis super snaps or Imse Vimse organic cotton diaper covers.
I have tried wool covers and like the absorbency but not the washing process, just a bit more time than I would like to spend. I have also tied pocket diapers and felt that they needed to be washed to often and didn't prevent leaks.

One thing I would highly suggest is to purchase diaper service quality diapers!

Hi K.! Yay! Another cloth diapering Momma! I actually have never heard of this brand. Are they new? The 2 kinds I use are Bum Genius (which I have a mixed review on) and Mother-ease, which as far as I'm concerned are the best diapers on the planet! Some women use disposables, but natural disposables. I can't think of their names now. But here is the link for Mother-ease, which I swear by.

*Edited to add* I noticed you are in the Rochester area. If you dont mind taking a trip to the Buffalo area, there is a local natural baby store here that carries several brands of diapers, Mother-ease one of them. It may be nice to be able to touch and feel them to get a better idea. Its hard to find cloth diapers in actual stores, so this may help!

I've only tried Blue Penguin All in One diapers. I liked them but we have moved to disposable.
g diapers are cool. They have a flushable insert and cloth outerpants.
We are also pleased with Seventh Generation (conventional).

Oh- If you need a good cloth diaper soap- Charlie's Soap is EXCELLENT! I use it for EVERYTHING. It is also recommended by a cloth diaper company in VT (greenmountaindiapers.com).
