J.C.
There are so many cute names out there! and when you hear the right one you will know. but if I was you I would stay away from anything that ends in Aiden. Like Jaden or Caden or Hadden...... there are just so many of them!
You guys are always so awesome at this: I am pregnant yay! With we think a boy- we dont find out for a few weeks. But anyway we are thinking of boy names. I have two step sons Nathaniel Alexander & Anthony Adonis. I have one son with my husband named Ryan David, so I am wondering if you have any suggestions on names. Our names we have chosen are common names- so I would like to not have anything to out there. This will be boy number 4 for my husband and I, so boy names are hard to chose! Any suggestions would help.
Thank you :)

I would mix and match several of these with each other.
Nothing in the top 10 most popular boys names and nothing ending in -den.
have you looked into names from your families history? sometimes last names make great first or middle names. i had a great-uncle Clive, i really liked the name but husband nixed it. do a little digging and you might find a name you really love.
If I have a boy, Evan Matthew is on the list. So far it's the only name on the list.

EDIT: I misread your post totally wrong!! I'm SO sorry!
Anyway, buy a baby book and start reading them out loud. Maybe the Fates will lend a hand.
As for us, we're making ready for Matthew Allen. :)
I like the theme of middle names
- Alexander the great
- Adonis Greek god
- David (and Goliath, stature of David, etc,)
It would be cool to continue that trend on purpose if possible.
Gabriel (archangels in Judeo/Christian/Islamic trad)
Michael
Raphael
Noah (flood, JCI)
Richard (lionhearted)
Issac (newton, also JCI ref)
Nicolaus (Copernicus)
Adam (JCI)
Julius (Caesar)
Johann (Sebastian Bach)
Etc.
Grouping... N & A sounds are common in all 3 first names.
- Daniel
- Blaine
- Vance
- Ethan
- Brandon
- Sebastian
- Mason
- etc.

These are classic names and not weird nor in spelling or saying it. And a kid, can pronounce it too.
Owen, Evan, Aidan, Quinlin and Colin are all work nicely with Ryan. How about a grandfathers name for a middle name? I also like Gregory as a middle name with all of those names. The two step sons have similar styles of names that can be shortened, so it would be nice if this baby had a name similar to your other son, that can't be shortened. ETA Forget Quinlin-it would be shortened to Quinn. I just realized why I like Ryan David so much, it is my nephew's name. His brother is Colin Peter.
My son's middle name is Wyeth. I really like it.

I'm always hesitant to weigh in on questions like this, because YOU, YOUR HUSBAND and CHILD will have to live with whatever you decide on.
And since you don't want anything too out there you already have ideas of what would work...for instance, Matthias or Matteo instead of Matthew wouldn't work. Only you and your husband know what you would feel comfortable with.
What I'm advising is for you to get a good baby name book, go down the lists for boys beginning with the "A's" and say them out loud with your last name to hear how each name sounds. Write the entire name down to see what the initials would be, and consider any nicknames that might be associated with it, this will help you identify what could be embarrassing or taboo for your child as they grow up. For example, really consider how the name you choose could impact your child in the future. I had a boyfriend once who hated his name, Ricardo, a perfectly good name. However, when he got to about the 5th grade classmates were making fun of him with a rhyming nickname, so he changed his name to Richard.
I named my first child after the name in a song, I heard it and loved it and though I didn't know the sex yet I knew it would be THE name, changing one letter would render it usable for either a boy or a girl. I called my baby that for months, then decided to pick a middle name and started going through the baby name book and saying all three names together to see how it all "fit", and when I got to the one I knew was it I closed the book, wrote the name down on a slip of paper and put it in the middle of the kitchen table for all to see.
Congrats on your pregnancy, have fun choosing a name, God bless you and your family ツ
