My 6 month old daughter has had diarrhea for 3 days and I am just wondering what it would be caused by and what to do. We haven't changed anything so I don't know why this is happening. Could it be from teething?

What can I do next?

Yes it can be related to teething. The saliva becomes more acidic during teething and can cause changing in digestion. Also look out for diaper rash during these days.
If the diarrhea is mild, up her liquids so she stays hydrated, you may even consider an electrolyte to help (you can give it to her in a bottle or mixed with formula). If it becomes more severe, call her pedi to make sure she doesn't have a bug that's going around.

Probably teething. But call your ped. When my little one had this at 8 months, the only thing the doc suggested was lots of fluids and a probiotic like Florastor that I sprinkled into applesauce. He had the diarrhea for about a week and then it went away. Call your doctor/nurse line and see what they suggest.

It is time to take her to the Doctor.
Or if you did, what did the Doctor say?
There is no way to diagnose this, unless a Doctor has.

Your baby is 6 months.
Diarrhea... can really dehydrate a baby and it can be dangerous. So, also beware of what dehydration symptoms are, in a very young baby.
And nurse, on demand.

both my boys had diarrhea when they were teething. Make sure you do pedialyte or something for the dehydration, but check with your pediatrician first.
