My daughter just turned 8 months, and she has no teeth yet. Is it safe to give her gerber graduate puffs yet?

What can I do next?

they can eat ALL foods with NO teeth really - I would NOT do puffs though, they have NO nutritional value at all. Instead stick to a whole grain cereal like Cherrios or Kashi Heart to Heart. Steam veggies and fruits to make them soft and give her those, buy low sodium canned veggies, or canned fruits and let her eat those. As long as she has had the food in jar form, she can have it in table food form. My daughter even had corn on the cob with only 2 teeth and managed to eat it all off the cob!

I think that it is fine but if you are really worried (like my husband was), you can dip them in water before you offer them to her. Her saliva will break them down even without teeth.

Yes you can - I would break them in half until she gets used to them. They do dissolve once wet enough so she won't choke on them. You can also do cheerios soaked in a little breastmilk or formula to soften them. It's great to start encouraging her fine motor skills right now too.

I give my 8 month old the puffs. She does have 2 teeth on the bottom front, but doesn't really use them. She is able to mush them around in her mouth, they dissolve very easily. Yes, I would start giving them to your DD. I also recently started giving mine the yogurt melts.
