Has it recently become this way or is it more of long term issue? When was the last time you went to the dentist?
Here's my two cents :)
If it's new, then follow the advice of brushing the tongue and if you are having sinus issues that may be why.
Maybe a trip to the dentist if you haven't been in a while.
I am 43, drink 3-4 cups of coffee a day and tea or Dr. Pepper at lunch - this is what worked for me, I swear by it:
-sonicare toothbrush (the least expensive model works just fine - no need for all the bells &whistles)
-waterpik
-brush with hydrogen peroxide & baking soda
-use a fluoride toothpaste or rinse a couple of times a week to get the fluoride you need
If you don't want to brush w/ hydrogen peroxide & baking soda, just rinse with the peroxide. It's weird at first but it's easy to get used too and well worth the results. I did this and I do not have bad breath anymore. Before I did this, I didn't have any pain or redness either but I did have the beginnings of gum disease. I changed dentists and my new dentist says there is no evidence gum disease. My dentist also told me that whatever I am doing, I should continue doing it, because it's working.
I hate bad breath. Good luck on whatever you end up trying!!
