I've never used it or heard of it being used for weight loss.

However, we do use local bee pollen for allergies and it helps a lot. We put about 1/2 or less teaspoon on cereal or just eat it.

We have not lost weight using this product and if we did we'd stop using it because we can't afford to lose weight, we have to work to keep a good weight on.

It sounds like a scam to me for weight loss but it does work well for allergies.

I've never heard of taking bee pollen for weight loss. My whole family takes local bee pollen to help with seasonal allergies (and it works!) but none of us have started losing weight.

Ok - I just did a quick search and it does look like some companies package up bee pollen and sell it to help with all sorts of stuff, including weight loss. I'm skeptical. The weight loss claims are based on the fact that bee pollen contains super concentrated vitamins, minerals, antioxidents and bioflavenoids... and somehow taking bee pollen will reduce your body's cravings for other foods because you'll be getting lots of what you need through just a tiny dose of bee pollen. I guess if the reason you were overeating is because you weren't getting enough vitamins, then give this a try. If not, I think this is just a scam.

You know Bee Pollen has been marketed by nature lovers for a very long time, because it is the special diet of the Queen Bee who far out lives the rest of her Bee Slaves.

The bottom line: we are not Bees. Our nutritional needs are clearly and hugely different.

So, I would not buy into purchasing expensive Bee Pollen with fantastic (or fanatical) promises.

Eat spinach, kale, seaweed, dark, leafy greens in excess - now that will cure you.

No. Doesn't make any sense. If someone's marketing it this way, it sounds like a scam. Some people have used it for allergy relief but it has to be from the pollen in your area or at least the plant you are allergic to. Local honey seems to work best. Don't pay for a separate supplement, and if it's in pill form, you're only absorbing 15-25% of it and wasting your money. I can send you an article citing the Physicians Desk Reference on absorption - there are X-rays of undigested pills working their way through the colon and doing absolutely no good. The key to weight loss is calorie/portion control, a healthy balance of good fats and good carbs and protein, and exercise. No magic bullet. If there were, we wouldn't have an obesity problem.
