What is your favorite convertible car seat? How long have you used it? What is the weight rating? I'm looking for one for my baby, he is only 3 months old but it huge. I really like the Learning Curve by First Years.

What can I do next?

Although the Boulevard is a great seat based on reviews, the Britax Marathon is also great. I would consider it as well.

Britax Boulevard. Britax gets the best ratings in consumer reports and Baby Bargains. If you decide on Britax, Buy Buy Baby has them cheaper than Babies R Us. Babies R Us will match BBB's prices and you can use more than one coupon at Babies R Us. I took a picture of the price tag from BBB and showed it to a manager at BRU and they matched the price then I was able to use 2 15% off coupons. Right now, BRU just sent their coupons out in the mail and they have a 20% off coupon and a 10% off carseat coupon. If you can get them to match BBB's price and then use the coupons you can get a really great deal. I got the Boulevard that sells for $329.99 at BRU for $196. The Boulevard goes up to 65 pounds so it should last a long time. Also, it goes rear facing up to 35 pounds and studies recommend you keep your child rear facing as long as possible.

My daughter purchased the Britax AdvocateCS. It is one of their newer products and has side impact protection. Since I transport my precious granddaughter frequently, I have one in my car as well. It sits really high, so she can see out the window. Britax is consistently rated #1 for safety. The price is worth it when you realize that they will be using it for several years.

We have a Britax Boulevard for our littlest, but when we were looking I also really liked the Recaro Signo. I read that it's not so awesome for chunkier kids & since mine is a hefty nugget, I ultimately I chose the roomier Boulevard.

One I've seen recently is the MyRide 65, which allows rearfacing until 40 lbs; extended rear facing is so much safer for children. The Boulevard goes to 30 or 35 lbs, can't remember which.

There are several factors you'll want to consider before making your purchase. I'd recommend visiting www.car-seat.org and reading the forums. AWESOME resource!

Good luck with your decision!

I just saw that this site has some really awesome deals on the Britax seats, should you choose one:

Also, Elitecarseats.com has great reviews on seats.
