We use Citi Bank but it is only American Airline miles. For us, it is not an issue since we live here in DFW where American has most of the terminals and HQ.
In all honestly, it is getting harder and harder to use the miles and we have been switching over. When you do use miles, there are all kinds of fees involved now and you can easily pay $100+ for a "free" flight. Just think about all the rules and regulations they have started.
We also use Citi Bank Driver's Edge which earns points. When you buy a new car, after you negotiate your best deal and buy the car, you get cash back. We got $2000 back in 07 when we bought my Mercedes. Just a thought.
We business bank through Bank of America and they give cash back on the business credit card. It is a nice little perk to just get cash back.
We own or business now and have high expenses and in the past husband has been in sales where expenses were also very high so we accumulate a lot of miles/points. Of course the cards carry no balances, they are paid in full monthly.
