Recreational or competitive? There's a big difference.
I want a soccer camp or program for my boy. He will turn 6 on September 20th and we want him in a really good soccer program near Murphy Texas. Could somebody help me with this???

Look into your local AYSO program. They are fantastic.
My son will be 6 in July. We did the YMCA program a couple of years ago, and he was just too young for it. He received very little instruction and was just kind of thrown in to a game situation. We took a break.
This summer I registered him for Happy Feet.

Their program uses games to teach soccer skills. The do lots of footwork and kicks and different exercises that would actually be used in a game, but it's all songs and kids games. He's really loving it, and I'm hoping that when we do try the YMCA again he'll be able to adjust much more easily.
I've had my eight-year-old in the YMCA soccer program since she was 4. We've had the same coach every season, and it's been a fabulous experience.
