just one from both should be good enough, I have three boys and when we go to a birthday party we just get one big present from all of us:)

One. They shouldn't be inviting your children for the gifts. They should be invited for their company. I would never expect more then one gift (or any at all) from a whole family. Price doesn't matter either.

I normally bring 1 nice gift or 2 small gifts if both my girls are invited.

honestly i never would have thought about it. i would think one is fine. i'm sure the parents would understand (and quite honestly be a little thankful to not have yet another toy to step on in the middle of the night!)

I would only expect one if only one of the children are the birthday child's friend/classmate and the sibling was invited as a courtesy, BUT if the party place charges by the head or if they have to alot for goodie bags/food/cake, then you should bring two gifts, especially if both kids are the birthday child's friends/classmates.

Honestly, I would only bring one nice gift in the minimum $15 to maximum $25 range.

When I invite friends to our parties, most people have multiple children and heavens, I would never expect people to bring multiple gifts.

Someone said it best, "You are inviting friends for the company, not the gifts."

Truly, it is the thought that counts! :)

two gifts, because they are both invited and enjoying the party.
Or one gift that costs as much as two gifts.

I don't know exactly what is "proper", but I usually either take two gifts or one gift that costs about the same as two gifts. I figure that if I were to have birthday parties for my two girls, and that child were invited to both, then that child would end up buying two gifts, so it seems the "right" thing to do in my opinion. (Mine are not twins, but 17 months apart and have the same friends right now.)

Not sure if this right, but I would either take two small (less expensive) gifts from each boy or take one big gift from both. Both would be perfectly acceptable to me if I was giving the party.

As a mom of twins, I would bring 2 gifts. One present from each of them.
