I am looking for ideas in the Naperville/Plainfield/Oswego area for a boy turning 6. He is just entering Kindergarten so we haven't been exposed to a lot of parties yet. Advice of indoor or outdoor places is appreciated.

What can I do next?

We have decided to have it at Naperville Gymnastics. Will keep you posted.

Does he like dinosaurs? Noahs Ark(the traveling make your own cuddly collectible) just launched a new line of dinosaurs for the boys and we also have a teddy monster(cute)..The dinosaurs come with their own birth certificates and invitations..Check out www.arkparties.com for more info..

Lots of fun, no going somewhere and trying to keep track of everyone, I come to you with everything needed, nothing for you to do but sit back, relax and enjoy your son's birthday.

Happy Birthday to your son..K....www.arkparties.com

The new movie theater at 95th and 59 has party rooms. The kids see a movie and then have an hour in the room. It was $12/kid and each kid got popcorn and a drink. You also get a party attendant that takes care of getting the refreshments. You can bring your own cake and/or pizza. We got Cici's pizza, its right down the street and only $5 for a large one topping. We did this for my daughter's 6th Bday party in March and it was the easiest, most fun party that she has had.

Bounce Town in Oswego (near Rt. 34 & Rt. 30) is awesome. They have HUGE bouncers, jungle jim, basketball, etc. A little on the expensive side for a party.

Odyssey Fun World in Aurora (near Rt. 59 & Rt. 88) is also awesome. We've had taken our kids parties there. It's VERY reasonably priced. It's kind of like Chuckee Cheese's only much better for bigger kids. They have video games, a couple of rides, laser tag, an outdoor area (bouncers - I think) and a HUGE climbing area.

I hope that helps.

Oswegoland Park District does outdoor pool parties and they have indoor parties ( Classic Party, Wacky Olympic Parties, Sport Parties and Gymnastic Parties) too. We've been to a couple and they were nice and not too expensive. There number is ###-###-####
