My son is turning 3 in May and I am looking for suitable locations to hold his party. If I can, I'd like to include daycare friends and our families. I did a lot of research and some places like Pump it Up, Safari Run are more suitable for 4-5 years old or older. May can be tricky so open to all ideas. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

There's this new place in Menlo Park (borderline Redwood City) called UMe. It's only a few months old I think and everything is super clean and nice. From what i've heard it's pretty expensive though. I've never attended a birthday party, but there was one going on when we were there and it seemed like it was run well. My 2 1/2 year old son has a lot of fun when we go for open play.

We had a pump it up party and it was fine for lil ones. My kids really loved bounce arama @ the great mall, it was a lot of fun! Since you're having it in may, u should check out kennedy park in hayward. It has a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, bouncer, playground, etc. We also had a party there and the kids thought it was great & it's less expensive.

just to provide some information on pump it up. i received a gift certificate and shared it with our mom & me class. we had 25 2year olds and they had a blast. i did ask them to turn the music off since this was too loud for the little ears. my 2 year old twin girls had an amazing time. we provided the class w/ cupcakes and a light snack. we did book the first available time - 9:15 am.

Check out Little Gym, My Gym, or Gymboree. They provide fun instructor-led activities for birthdays that are more appropriate for the little people. I'm having my son's 2nd birthday party at Little Gym.

Hi. I did Bounce U in San Carlos for my son's 2nd b-day (with a few kids his age, and half a dozen a couple of years older). My son LOVED it. Their website says for 3 and older, but I talked to the owner beforehand, and he said that for a 2 year old it would be fine. And it was. I encourage you to check it out and talk to the owner. For my active little boy it was a blast, and they did most all of the work so it was relaxing for me.

I am now looking into places for his 3 year old party in May, and am considering Hiller Aviation museum, because he loves it there.

We had a party at pump it up for our 2 year old and it was great. You may want to re-consider. We really had a good time and he loved it.
