i asked the same question not long ago - my son's 2nd birthday is sept 24th :) i got a lot of good advice and we decided to do just a family party out at my mom's (in the country) with presents, cake, ect...then on a separate day we're taking a couple of his little friends to deanna rose children's farmstead. i'm going to do goodie bags for the kids but we're not doing an actual party at that time. he's only turning two and i don't think he'll quite "get" it yet, so that's what's going to work for us i think. good luck and happy birthday to your daugher!

My daughter is turning 1 at the end of September and we are having her party at Deana Rose. They have a birthday party package and we figured it would be easy to have everyone meet there, hang out at a picnic table or wander around the farm. And it's fun for the little ones to see the animals!

Crayola Cafe in Crown Center. They have a private birthday party room and food packages are available.

We did my son's second birthday at Zonkers at the great mall and my daughter's second birthday was at Deanna Rose Farmstead. They are both very fun, my kids had so much fun.
