I'm taking an exercise class but the inches are coming off but would like a little push . I wanted to know if any of you moms had done any body wraps and do they really work. I want(need)to get off 50 more pounds.

What can I do next?

I did it and it took a few inches off, but nothing really noticable. It certainly wasn't worth the money!

Hi J.,

I used to work at a spa. The wraps are great if you need a short term fix. The thing is the wrap is squeezing excess water out of your body like a sponge. When you drink water it comes right back.

I've had a body wrap and I lost about 12 inches from head to toe and my girlfriend lost 16 inches head to toe, it was temp fix. once you eat and drink water you gain your inches back, you have to get them at least every 2 to 3 months, to see something perm. Good luck because i am trying to lose about 20lbs

I have not done it but my stepmother did and said it was great. She said that it definitely took a few inches off (disbursed through out her body).

I did the body wrap and lost 11 inches however it was total lost from head to toe. It was a little noticeable but it wasn't enough to get me to do a second one. Hopefully, you can find someone who has done multiples and maybe they can prove it works. I wasn't impressed for the amount of money you have to spend.
Hope this helps!

The thing with body wraps is the inch loss is temporary. In order for the inch loss to continue, you need to do the body wraps on a regular basis and they are quite expensive. But if you can afford it, then hey!

Good luck!
